I'm happy that Blizzard is finally changing the ranked system. But, they should also implement some rules for players who disconnect. I recently lost a ranked game (and streak) because of the disconnect, and it really felt unfair. Just like the game 'draws' when a player gets disconnect in friendly mode, the same should happen in other modes. If a player gets disconnected, the game should draw without giving rewards to any player, or losing star or streak. It happens even with someone with a good internet connection, players GET disconnected sometimes. Losing the game is kinda unfair. What are your thoughts about this?
The difficulty is in figuring out a system that can confirm the difference between a ragequit disconnect and a system based disconnect. I 100% agree that if the game fails to start because someone got dc'd or their game crashed (as in, they aren't there when mulligans are happening), then the game should be considered a draw. Anything past that though, it's probably hard to tell for a program if someone just got shut out and couldn't get back in, vs them going "screw this game" and pulling their modem out.
Street Fighter 5 had major problems with people disconnecting on launch because a DC meant neither player got rewarded or punished for it, so people would just quit the game before they lost to avoid losing ranking points. I believe that the system has now improved, but I couldn't tell you in what way.
On my journey home on the train from work, I go through "coldspots", where the phone service can sometimes drop out. It's infuriating to lose a game when this happens because... well, it just is... but the point is that I play on the train and accept the consequences of doing so.
Playing on a mobile or tablet will have the possibility of disconnects and 99.9% of the time these disconnects are our own fault, not the game.
For reference, I have played maybe thousands of games on the PC and never once have I ever had a disconnect on there.
you get disconnected because of poor internet connection you should use high-speed net if you want to play online games and you can also cisco router support number router to use high-speed internet.
If Blizzard implemented this, they'd lose most of their players. People wouldn't climb by being a better player, they'd climb by being the biggest dick.

Hello old thread! I thought you looked familiar...
I would pull my internet plug everytime I meet an unfavorable matchup like Cubelock.
