Good card design that doesn't use randomness as a crutch.
Problem cards being taken out of competitive play.
Support for new players.
90% aggreement. I think that problem cards should be rotated out into wild format as they become large scale problems. While not immediately by the time a new set hits the card should be rotated out if the archtype has other options. And that the core set should be adjusted yearly to compensate if a particular class has little or no respresentation at tier 3 and above ideally trying to have at least every class with 1 representative in tier 2. I also think some of the earlier nerfs when the game was first released while not all should be readjusted.
Staving Buzzard down to 4 mana. Blade Flurry back to 2 or 3 mana the nerf on damage to players was enough of a nerf. Mountain giants back down to 20 mana. This would open some rogue and hunter arc types up and bring back some warlock options.
Additionally i would remove iceblock for the time being from core and replace it with some other options to keep mages competative but to get a bit of a shift off the the meta for mages which has pretty much had freezemage for at least 5 years. The decks been around that long in competative. With alot of options for tempo decks right now id switch around some of the set at least for 6 months to see if there couple be some other routes developed with mage that are currently only options really in Wild format.
I think Hearthstone is lacking for new players getting into the game. I would love to hear from you guys.
lacking of interes too, from veteran players like me,i'm being playing since beta, and i found HS so lazy card development, is just too much "discover" "random" or "add" card generators!!!
The one problem which I find is that when a expansion is released it will have players happy for a month, but the moment the meta sets the game becomes less interesting because you see the same decks over and over again. So with that in mind, I would like to see the meta change more often, whether that would be done by releasing new cards, changing older ones or have a game mode which would change every month, I do think something could be done about that.

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
Hearthstone as said above is probably just lacking enough variety. Many of us would like to see like monthly card changes or something similar. Furthermore, not enough rewards to have an incentive to play is an issue. Nowadays newer players basically can never catch up unless they pay lots of money. (Lacking a new community or one that isn't always complaining after a certain time). Lacking skill or at least some cards that have a bit more complicated text. Maybe some actual ingame chat with the person you are vsing. (even though it could be annoying and tilting)
I'd like to see more events, like Fire and Frost Festivals, or something that rewards you for playing more time, like 20 gold every 3 victories.
More packs for the new players for completing specific tasks. I remember the struggle the first months as a F2P having a little collection, playing every class felt almost the same.
I'd love a story mode. Choosing a hero and participating in WoW/HS lore would feel amazing. Something like adventures, but more open.
2 vs 2 mode. Having the chance to play side by side with a friend and creating decks with sinergy (like the co-op tavern brawl) would be great.
A lot of things changed since I started playing in GvG. Tavern Brawl, Welcome Bundle, new missions that doesn't need you to win (biggest struggle when you start), and these new free stuff made the game really great. Hoping to keep going in this way!
Also, login rewards were great for 1 week at the last expansion, they should bring it back and make it constant, no big things, but a seasonal (1 month) time table where the 1 st day gives like 50 dust or so and the last a random golden epic or better maybe, but it would only progress with every login, similar to guild wars 2's daily reward system
I want some more features to increase accessibility to new players.
I remember playing a Tavern Brawl called "A Peek to the Past" in which the players could only use Basic and Classic cards of Rare rarity and below, and thinking "it would be excellent to see a dedicated mode like this."
Speaking as someone who started playing during the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion, I can say it was very rough getting through the entry barrier; I would have loved a way to help me ease into the game.

That's just an assumption. You need evidence to back up your claim.

A "get rekt" emote that's only usable once per match.
Useful warlock cards.

An achievement system along the lines of WoW with alternate foil cards as rewards.

2 v 2 mode, it's totally unbalanced in other CCGs but it leads to some very memorable and entertaining games.
