With the release of karazhan I thought of some crazy possibility that a tempo based briest deck might become valuable. All of your feedback is greatly apprecieated as I will strive to make this deck a success!
In my opinion its not "Tempo Priest". It is "Priest on Class cards". You need to choose main direction: Tempo/ Resurrect /Spells. For Tempo stuff I use, for example Azure Drake, Holy smite and Gnomish Inventor.
It is all speculation until we can actually try the cards but speculation is fun.
1. Get rid of Power Word Tentacles that card is beyond terrible
2. Forbidden Shaping also turned out to be just a bit weaker then people that it would be in practice
3. Shadow Madness is another card I'd dump
4. You need Circle of Healing for sure in this deck
5. Sylvannas is also a pretty safe beat if your running Moat and Onyx
This just something I'm wondering now that I see this list. But what you think the interaction between Moat Lurker and Onyx Bishop is going to be. If you resummon Moat Lurker will it resummon another minion when it dies again?
As bad as Power word Tentacles may seem if you get to play it on your Priest of the Feast you instantly have a 5/12 minion. I think the card may have potential. Because this is a tempo deck forbidden shaping is for those turns where you dont have much to do and on turn 8 the card becomes pretty powerful. I've actually been playing around with Shadow Madness and the card has proven to be pretty useful. As for circle healing I'm really thinking about adding to the deck. It interactes well with Priest of the Firest, Injured Blademaster, Auchenai Soulpriest. The only problem with the card is that I would have to take out my Excavated Evils in order to put them in which would down my consistency on practical AOE. I'm not sure about Moat Lurker either. I tried to look at the card kind of like a sap and thought that if your pushing a tempo deck playing a moat lurker could actually shine. Slyvannas seems like a good fit I'll be sure to fit her in. One thing I think this deck needs is better removal. I just kind of threw in Shadow Word: Pain and Death but I feel Holy Smite might be better for a tempo-ish playstyle. Anyway those are my thoughts thanks for yours. I'll be sure to incorporate Sylvannas and try to fit in Circle Heals as well
Currently the only 2 competitive Priest decks are Dragon Priest, and a C'Thun/N'Zoth hybrid priest. I would also avoid Onyx Bishop at all costs, especially if you run weaker cards (IE anything statted worse than Injured Blademaster) with the notable exception of Priest of the Feast

Thx for your help

Cards I'm thinking about adding:
Circle of Healing
Sylvanas Windrunner
Holy Smite
Why not Dragon Priest? Because considering tempo priest, dragon priest is the best imo.

I wouldn't run Moat Lurker without any silence
