Discard your opponent's cards from his hand mechanics: yes
Graveyard Mechanics: No way in hell, just see games like MTG and yugioh, graveyard and cards being recyclable have a tremendously high chance of leading to stupidly broken Combos.
As a MTG player, I like to play black decks that interact with the graveyard, but I don't think it works very well with HearthStone. I would like to have a graveyard, so you can look through what cards have been played, but minimal interaction. Resurect is fine, but I agree, it would be nice to see what is actually in the graveyard.
As for discard mechanics, no way. With 30 card decks and starting hands of 3 or 4, having your oppenent discard a card can wreck them. And that mechanic is just no fun.
Yes, there are alrdy some cards like resurrect and any fin is possible. Mostly I would like to c actual gy so I can c what me and my opponent has cast, the side bar is unusable for me since I only play on the phone.
i would also like a way to organize cards by set since we r losing gvg. Pretty annoying to go to the creation screen and u can't filter out gvg stuff since its rotating.

That's exactly my opinion. Only because one card (Anyfin Can Happen) is bullshit that does not mean we have to add a whole new feature (remove cards from graveyard) to the game. Actuylly nobody would use these cards atm as it's only effective against 2 cards (did i miss a card?). Of course this might change in the future
I don't know that people understand what the main post is saying. He is asking for a way to see what has been discarded after being used or after a minion is destroyed/killed/removed from the board. That way you can see what Anyfin can happen will give you if you cast it, or what possible targets there are from resurrect.
He also mentions potential for them adding graveyard effects which you're voting down on; not every card game can have a zombie mechanic and work well.
I'm not sure why everyone discuss discard here, cuz this thread is about graveyard - some place, where we can see what died this game, and possible interactions with it, like ressurect some creature from graveyard, or put it in your hand, or remove all creatures from graveyards.
I'm not even telling to copy MTG graveyard here: I don't think spells belong to the graveyard, but minions die, and it's logical to see them all. They can also be shown scattered randomly above and below the space where your minions are, so you see the seriousness of battle on screenshots.
I'd vote this up just for the fact that it would be beneficial for both sides; however, I don't believe we need to add graveyard mechanics at this point... but it would still be beneficial to see what has been discarded/destroyed up to that point in the game.

Discard mechanics inherently synergize with graveyard mechanics, which is why people mention it in a thread about graveyard and/or graveyard mechanics.
There was originally a place/way to see your graveyard. I didn't start playing till open beta so, I don't know if it was ever actually functional in the game during alpha/closed beta. The little skull next to your deck was a way to see your graveyard. I'm not sure how it worked but, they ended up scrapping it. So, I suppose it's not unreasonable for blizz to take another look at it and reevaluate whether or not to implement it.
If you play a deck with anyfin , ressurect and even playing a Reno deck with a couple of duplicates will be very good have a mechanic like that
I guess this will be implemented someday. No necessary a graveyard but a way to see every card used by you or your opponent, like a internal deck tracker. I guess as well that will have more cards with this mechanic, like "recast: discover a spell you already used this game" or something.
I think graveyard mechanics are cool, and open up lots of banish and exile type stuff that could be implemented in a way that avoids deathrattle. Ie, deathrattle only trigger on minions sent to graveyard; if a minion is exiled or banished it is removed from t h e game, and deathrattle will not trigger.
Edit: graveyard interaction also opens up the possibility of anti-mill/fatigue techs (eg shuffle 3 random minions/cards from graveyard into deck).
Also, re: discard mechanics - I don't think forced discard will work with 30 card decks and only 2 copies of cards sllowed, maybe something like forcing shuffle of hand into deck and redrawing.
I like a lot of the MTG mechanics, the Graveyard is one of those. Hearthstone basicly has a Graveyard too, but not many cards that support it the way Magic does. It will come someday.

Right now we have some cards that do something with dead creatures. We have no ways to see what creature died, except keep track by ourselves.
Maybe it's a good idea to create graveyard and graveyard mechanics (and tech cards)?
That will probably also put anyfin murlocks from graveyard and back, thus we will not have 7 murlocks in the second wave, just those 5.
Thoughts?
I like the idea. It could also leads to a future mechanic similar to MTG's Exile.

You CAN see what died in the tracker on the left side of the screen.
Resurrect is exactly the reason why we should at least see what we resurrecting.

If the Discard mechanic gets more involved in the game, sure, if not I don't see why. Or simple Hearthstone deck tracker or a pen and paper SeemsGood

Here's a simple way to ease into it, print a card with the text:
Discover a minion that died this game
