Just had this wonderluck to open a golden Prophet Velen this morning - that one I will DE and therefore,
I´m a FTP player with limited time to play HS, approx play´s 1-2h a day and my next goal is to grind the ladder til rank 5. So far I´ve done rank 12 with Tempo Mage and Mid-Range Hunter but wanted to test out a Tier 1 deck, already tried the Brann Zoolock - but didn´t find that deck superfunny to play.
So, shall I do Secret Paladin without Tirion Fordring or just go full Mid-Range Druid? I have no experience from none of these two classes, but I´ll guess at least for one of them I don´t really need :p I know, many of you hate Secret Paladin, so with that said and done what´s your opinion?
Cheers!

Both is fine. I'd pick midrange druid because you don't have tirion which is the best legendary in the game and is oftent he game-sealer. Midrange Druid is decent in this meta
Jesus Christ this community is toxic. Don't listen to the people calling you cancer, telling you to quit the game, or kill yourself. You can play whatever deck you want, and everyone who thinks otherwise has the maturity of an 11 year old.
Anyway, I'd go for Druid. It's relatively cheap, consistent, easy to play, and almost always relevant. Tirion would be a good craft though, as it's used in every Paladin deck besides aggro. Good luck!

Yeah sure he can play wathever he wants. You pick deck that requires 0 skill to play and is broken, you just go raise your ego of extend of other ppl fun . Yeah im toxic, but atleast im not selfish piece of shit like you.
In what way am I selfish? I don't play secret Paladin or Druid, if that's what you mean. Even if I did, and all the players who do, have absolutely nothing to prove to you. Why do you think that someone playing a game in a totally legitimate way makes them selfish, anyway? Just because you don't like it? I'm not interested in starting a flame war on the internet so I won't respond any more to this, I was just hoping that maybe people would realize how out of line it is to tell someone to kill themselves over a game. Have a good morning/afternoon/evening.
How is it selfish? its simple, if you pick deck that is hated by everyone and you know that this creates bad experience to other ppl, and you still do pick it up and play it cause its best deck around and its easier to win with it, that makes you selfish as fuck mate. Im also not gonna start a war her for no reason i just said what i think about this deck and ppl who pick secret whore.
Turn 1: play secret turn 2: play minion turn 3: play more minions + weapon turn 4: play op shredder turn 5: play loatheb turn 6: play mysterious cancer turn 7: play op boom turn 8: gg
i don't understand people calling other secret paladin players retarded or something like that. Why don't you guys play secret paladin if you are so sick of it. I am planning to craft secret paladin for next season because my main goal is to reach rank 5. By the way how is choosing secret paladin make someone a selfish person? Is this a game for loyalty? You just have to do the best you can do to survive. By the way, people who are calling you retarded are people playing like tempo mage, midrange druid, zoolock that requires no skill as well.

forgot about face hunters and aggro shamans as well
So, basically if you play a competitive deck on ladder you are a piece of shit cancer player. Lmao. I suppose all you haters would also bring a knife to a gun fight. Because that would be the more interactive thing to do. Kappa

@ OP: If the only thing that matters to you is climbing up the ladder (which is fine if that's how you get enjoyment out of this game) then I'd suggest Druid. Cheaper overall to put together, proven to be very effective, plus a little less brainless than secret pally.
On the other hand, I'd suggest instead fleshing out parts of your collection with some key neutral cards (like Piloted Shredder or Dr. Boom) if you don't have them yet. Then move on to worrying about which specific class(es) you want to build class cards for. This way when secret pally and combo druid inevitably fall out of favor as every top-ranked deck has so far, you won't have put all your eggs in one basket and get utterly screwed by the nerfhammer. Just my thought on this, ultimately you do what you wanna do and congrats on the dust!
I'd suggest crafting the key cards for Midrange Druid. Mysterious Challenger is a very likely candidate for a nerf (although if it does get nerfed, you'd get your dust back) because it severely limits design space for future Paladin secrets and, let's face it, is slightly oppressive.
The core of Druid decks has been around for a long time, and the deck might evolve, but its skeleton will remain solid.
Don't listen to the very salty players lurking around. They're sad, sad human beings if they spend their time insulting people they don't know over things that, ultimately, do not concern them.

Maybe play a deck thats actually interesting? You know there are numerous other decks besides those 2.

Turn 1: play secret turn 2: play minion turn 3: play more minions + weapon turn 4: play op shredder turn 5: play loatheb turn 6: play mysterious cancer turn 7: play op boom turn 8: gg
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Maybe try and create your OWN deck instead of just going for the flavor of the month... /spit
Mid -range druid, it's cheaper than Secret Paladin and seems to be a "meta proof" deck xD
P.S.: sorry for my English.
Always rank 15-20.

Go for the druid if you have the cards, you cant play secret pally without tirion IMO.
Since you're missing Tirion, I suggest to make Midrange Druid + you might enjoy the deck/climb better than the secret paladin.

Dont craft either. Theyre the two most overpowered and easy-to-play decks in the entire game. Theyre both bound for a nerf soon.

Secret Paladin is boring IMO so just play literally anything else. Midrange Druid? sure.
Both are Tier 1 deck, so no too much different
RNG love me Kappa
