I think Krolusk is essential here honestly; if you don't have two copies, consider running a different variant of Dragon Hunter that doesn't rely on spellburst.
I like Veranus since no one seems to expect it, plus it makes your 1/1 tokens from Adorable Infestation and any low-damage 1-cost spells you find more useful. You could try out Dragonbane instead for a faster deck. Alternatively, maybe try swapping in another dragon (Big Ole Whelp or Evasive Wyrm for instance)
Deadly Shot baked into a 6/5 body. With dragon synergy. For 5 mana.
This card is crazy good, especially since you can discover more from Emerald Explorer and it can help clear a path to face for Stormhammer. A strong auto-include in any Dragon Hunter deck!
Zilliax would be a good addition here for sure. I'm still on the fence about battle rage and idk about Twilight Elder...Akali and Piper seem neat here however!
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! And yeah either Acolyte of Pain orColdlight Oracle would make sense to add here. I'm kind of leaning towards Acolyte personally TBH.
Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad to hear this deck is working well for you! I also fully agree that the greatest strength of this deck, honestly, is that people don't know how to play against it...that's probably a huge part of the success I had with it.
I must wonder if Shield Slam is worth keeping as a 2-of without Quartermaster and Eternium Rover. Still, if you haven't seen much aggro so far, it makes sense to me to cut the armor gain cards for more draw. I have slightly mixed feelings on Brawl but I do like the Acolytes and I'm currently running 2 in an updated version of this myself. Cutting a shield slam for a Barista (or another win-more card of some sort) seems like a reasonable testing plan to me without more armor gain tbh.
I'm also considering Armorsmith if I do wind up keeping both shield slams as an added anti-aggro hedge, but I'm not really sure it's necessary.
Thanks for taking the deck for a spin! FWIW I also noticed that I rarely played C'Thun itself last month, but Twin Emperor and Shieldbearer won me a few games. It's definitely a weaker package than the Galakrond cards for sure. I'm glad you had fun with it at least :)
I though about a Coldlight Oracle and Dead Man's Hand package here for a while but felt it was way too slow. 1 Oracle seems like a reasonable test for sure however :)
I'm guessing because it's an early drop that combos well with Shadow Visions. I've seen it in a lot of other dragon priest decks, but most of them were running Lyra the Sunshard (which makes a lot of sense since you can get some really absurd spell chains with the 2 of them on the board with Lyra). However, I'll agree it feels somewhat underwhelming in this deck...I've been trying Shadow Ascendant as a substitute in my own deck since throwing it down as a follow-up to Northshire Cleric or behind a Tar Creeper causes you to snowball hard if left unchecked.
Rank out steam at rank 10 last season, unfortunately - I'm getting married in a week so preparing for that took priority over the Hearthstone ladder! I actually found best success with an aggressive murlocadin list, even with the nerf to Murloc Warleader:
I'm debating if I keep playing this, switch to a different aggro deck (been having fun with egg hunter and I guess there's always aggro sham in a worst case), or switch to something slower - I've had a blast with exodia pally but games take a while with it. Regardless I'll make a 10-day scramble up the ladder towards the end of the season since I'll be on honeymoon and/or catching up on work until then :)
I posted that before you had card justifications in the OP :)
Medivh with Mind Control and/or Free From Amber is already insanely strong. Dragon Priest shouldn't be trying to out-value in the endgame IMHO, so I'm still not keen on the inclusion of Eternal Servitude. This trick sounds highly useful in a fatigue or pure-control priest however.
The Medivh, the Guardian + Mind Control package feels somewhat greedy, and the double Free From Amber included as well feels EXTREMELY greedy to me. Could use a few more dragons - possibly Bone Drake - instead for consistency IMHO.
I also have mixed feelings on Eternal Servitude here since this isn't a Big Priest deck, after all.
I can only presume you're joking when you say "world first" since there's nothing too new or interesting going on here compared to Antonidas secret mage, frankly.

Banker seems like a fun card and I'd give it a shot if I had it!
