I have seen a few decks with it however majority of the decks don't have this card. I look at the 3/4 for three mana and i get their is nothing else that comes with it but isn't that alone worth it?
of course if you play big minions and late game spider-tank could be better...
if you play more "aggro", early presence on board with small minions, thinkertown could be better, and it means that you have small mech, 1/2 mana... if not there is no much value... just a 3/3...
if so a 3/4 can do better trade, maybe better than harvest with +1 attack...
Usually Spider Tank is removed before you can follow-up with a Tinkertown Technician while Harvest Golem stays. In a vacuum Spider Tank is better, but in practice it's actually difficult to get a mech to stick on turn 2/3 into turn 3/4 for a TTT play.
In addition, a lot of other mechs only have above curve value if a mech is already on-board, which makes that Damaged Golem all the more important.

One of the best new neutral cards.
i feel like harvest golem just outclasses it still. even in mech decks. you can run both of course tho
Tinkertown Technician is easily buffed to a 4/4 in mech decks which makes it clearly stronger than Spider Tank
and he gives you a spare part also...
agree, You have limited 3 mana slots, and in most decks harvest/tinker > tank.
You don't see yeti in that many decks either, spider tank is more of an arena pick.
Same here.
Dude when you see a good & underused card, don't broadcast it. Use it and ladder!
