i like to dream, but.. why at turn 9, or 10 i've in hand aviana - boom - rag - other random OpOpie big stuff and, of course 2 innervate?
i think that if i can i will play boom on curve, so other card... and not wait, if i had an hand like that, to play thaurissian asap, and not turn 9+...
I don't say tha aviana sucks, but thtat is not so easy to get extreme value out of her...

Stop making those kind of assumptions.
The main point of Aviana is not to empty your hand on turn 10 with Innervate and tons of biggies.
The point of Aviana is : instead of playing Cenarius turn 10, you play Cenarius + Aviana (a 5/5 for ONE mana !). And your opponent know that if he doesn't remove Aviana, he has lost.
Of course this is a win-more card and you won't play her if your opponent has kept all his removals and has board advantage. That's why she is not OP. But in a control game, she can have insane value. Not tempo, not burst : VALUE.
Exactly like Emperor Thaurissan. Everybody thought he was OP. In the end he is good but not broken, sometimes useless. Thaurissan is a 5/5 for 6 (no tempo) that does nothing to the board the turn he is played.
But he gains insane value on the long term and your opponent must take him off or he has lost.
Aviana will be good in ramp/control druid. Not a staple, not OP. But good.
maybe my english is not so good, but what i want to say is the same that you said ;) i read in this thread things that are not realistic... it's clear that, as druid, if i can turn 5 innervate and play AoL i'll do even if i have aviana in hand... and not wait until turn 9+ to play my minion... it's also clear that if i have aviana in hand, and i draw a big minion i'll be very happy to play both... but i think that playing on curve it's better then keep in hand your card and wait ^^

Not so bad ;) help against aggro and to ramp... is super good if you can play this and follow a 4 mana drop...even if it dies you don't lose nothing, you just play a minion that the opponent have to deal with... don't replace WG, but adds more ramping tools...
good against mirror entity or cabal or Sylvanas... not so good if it comes out of shredder...
I think is a good one, compared to other underwhelming new cards shines...
A missed change :D Way better, for me, if this card can trasform in something like Druid of the Claw... So we can choose: a 4/2 with charge (same cost of Arcane Golem, a bit better) and 2/4 with taunt...
I never liked Mind Control Tech and Kel'Thuzad in there. They seem amazing when they work, but watching his stream this is happening once every 10 games or so.
I agree with you esplecially with MCT... But now seems like a second life for KT (Massan, Gaara in warrior, Savjz and more)... KT can be a really strong card, more then MCT, in my opinion...
I think is usefull to, on you turn and if you have board presence, wipe opponent minions and get back with KT...
But when you have board maybe you're not losing the game...
of course if you play big minions and late game spider-tank could be better...
if you play more "aggro", early presence on board with small minions, thinkertown could be better, and it means that you have small mech, 1/2 mana... if not there is no much value... just a 3/3...
if so a 3/4 can do better trade, maybe better than harvest with +1 attack...

Blizz remeber: no money from me, for ever!

Spend 6 mana to remove a minion, and draw maybe 3 cards, but u don't have nothing on board and u're still behind...

Perfect against freeze mage :P
