SI:7 Agent Sully made friend with a squirrel he called Sock, and he only need to target something by his flashlight for his backup and watch his enemies die.
I wanted to make something a little gimmicky, A backwards stat line of a Spider Tank with an added benefit. The card itself is very dependent on you having another beast, so its a card better played waiting for that combo. But its just a fun piece that I wouldn't mind trying out :)
Playing with demons is not always good for one's health...
Mechanics explained: By the word "PLAY" it's meant the demon is counted as played, so its Battlecry triggers. If that battlecry would have a target, this minion would be the target. And, if this would summon anything bigger than a Succubus, the mage would fail to control the demon and it would eat him. This is a link to fantasy sorcerers summoning demons too strong for them to handle. It can be hard to balance such an effect, after all, playing demons is already pretty detrimental - if you'll get a Doomguard, you discard two cards, Succubus - discard one card, Flame Imp - take 3 damage (the hero would take the damage, not the summoner). But, if the summoner would get buffed up (Shattered Sun Cleric comes to mind), it will be able to stand ground against the doomguard (but not to a Dread Infernal if it has less than 7 HP, Infernal would burn him, then check, then eat).
When summoned: "Don't interrupt my summoning!" When triggered: "Demon, obey my command!" (and demon's voice as it's being played) When attacking: "The void awaits you!" When destroy triggered: "Foolish mortal! Ha-ha-ha-ha" (in demon voice) When dying: "Noooooo!"
Offers a great, rare kind synergy with Shaman's Overload effect and has a chance to become immortal for the cost of 4 mana each turn. For the Overloaded Mana Crystals, both currently locked and the ones getting locked will count, same way as for Lava Shock. Can also be comboed with Baron Rivendare, Reincarnate and Ancestral Spirit to perform exciting, even deck archtype worth finisher comboes.
The biggest downside of Skoll is that playing him (or her?) securely in requires using Ancestor's Call or waiting until you have enough mana to instantly combo Skoll with 4 mana overload. In addition he's also vulnerable against Silence and Transform effects.
Lore:
Skoll is a rare spawn blue saber worg Spirit Beast, appearing in Storm Peaks. He is notable for the unique lightning effect that crackles around his body.
Public Mod Note(Asylum_Rhapsody): UNDER REVIEW: Thematic concern, what creature is this? Usually anthropomorphic creatures in Warcraft (like Tauren and Pandaren) are NOT considered Beasts.
Since it's an assassin, it's good at Stealth. However, it's also a beast, it's easy to be Tracked. This card is for Rogue's fatigue deck. Hope you like it!

I hope you enjoy my submission for this week - a Shaman card that summons a powerful demon... None other than Kil'jaeden.

"Allying to a 25,000-year-old, absurdly powerful, evil Eredar seemed like a really good idea at the time."
My entry this week is steeped in Warcraft lore. Ner'zhul was an orc shaman who was deceived by Kil'jaeden. The demon physically destroyed Ner'zhul and imprisoned him within the Frozen Throne as soon as Kil'jaeden had used him for his purposes.
I think that the card(s) fit the feeling of shaman well with the mini-bloodlust effect. This effect also fits the Warcraft lore well, as Kil'jaeden fed the Blood of Mannoroth to the orcs to put them in a bloodlust state.
Also, in terms of lore, you have the enormous, ancient power of Kil'jaeden represented here, but also the way that meddling with such power destroyed Ner'zhul and nearly doomed his people.
In terms of why (I think) such a crazy card is balanced:
1) High cost for low stats on the initial card for Ner'zhul. If it gets silenced, you lose the big effect (but you also drew the enemy's silence). If they have no silence, you have a card your opponent will never want to kill (probably...)
2) The 15/15 stats on Kil'jaeden are super-scary. They should be. He was one of the most ancient and powerful of demons. It's a high risk / high reward card, however. Any hard "destroy" removal or a BGH and you have severely hit yourself in the face. (It is, however, potentially survivable, and - with "Healing Wave" possible to almost completely repair). Also, "return to your hand" cards played by your opponent can rob you of the rewards of this card (in particular, freezing trap).
Admit it, you've always wanted to summon a 15/15 demon... playing Shaman. Vote for my weekly contest entry here - Ner'zhul and Kil'jaeden(scroll down). Thanks!

My design this time is based on a Pandaria quest.
SI:7 Agent Sully made friend with a squirrel he called Sock, and he only need to target something by his flashlight for his backup and watch his enemies die.
And SI:7 is definitely a icon of rogues.
So, I take this interesting. Hope U 2. LOL

2-time Card Design finalist!
A Super-Acolyte-Of-Pain for Murloc Warrior.
Actually kind of sad to see very few are trying to push a deck made from the tribe they're putting into the class.\
Edit: I forgot the Murloc tag! Derp!
My creation this week. Hope you all like it as much as I do :-)

Here is my entry, Bluegill Spellbinder! This is obviously a Murloc Mage card designed to synergize well with other murlocs.
It would even work fine on it's own, but why wouldn't you include more Murlocs in your deck just to make him stronger?
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Gl to all the other competitors, I've seen some great cards already! Looking forward to seeing more!:)

Here's my sub of the week. A card to give rogue a little bit more tempo, or not sometime!
Feel free to comment.

Synergies to consider: Earth Shock (and other silence effect cards), Ancestral Spirit, Reincarnate, Healing Wave, Windfury, Bloodlust.
Thanks!
