Thanks so much for taking a look at my 2nd custom class (my first one can be found HERE). I hope we have some Buffy nerds in the house, cuz a lot of this will be lost on you if you don't know at least a little bit about the show xD Oh, and if you're overwhelmed by all the cards here and don't have time to check it all out, I recommend looking at just Basic and Classic!!
I've approached this class a bit differently than my last one, since this one exists in a different world than WoW. We're talking the Buffyverse, wherein there are no goblins, gnomes, murlocs, or even dragons. My goal was to take the spirit of each Hearthstone set and apply it in the best way possible, keeping the integrity of the Buffyverse and the expansive lore that exists within. I will definitely continue to expand the class as new sets come out, and will likely add a "Cards by Synergy" section and some deck lists at some point. But for now, all the card sets are complete.
This class has gone through many drafts/edits, and have been helped along especially byZence and The_Odinson (who also gets all the credit for the hero power!!). Thanks so much you two, and all the others that helped me out over at the Class Development Thread, to make this class happen.
All that said, let's dive in!!!
"The Slayer"
a custom class by Livienna
Class Features:
Core Keywords: Immune, Silence, Stealth, Taunt.
Weapons, plus "If your hero killed a minion this turn" effects.
A hero power that requires planning turns ahead to make the best use of your Supernatural Gifts.
Unique Slayer minions that support your hero and each other! To avoid confusion with the Slayer hero and the Slayer minions, I use "Slayer minions" in card text to indicate the race/tribe/minion type.

Basic Set:
Classic Set:
Jeez. That's a lot of cards. I'll just review the Basic and the Classic set for now. Overall, a lot of good idea and most of the art are absolutely on point.
Scooby Gang Up!: I really don't like the design since it's a little bit uninteractive. I think it'll end up either completely broken or trash tier.
Watcher's Tome: Underpower. Most 2 mana draw a card from another class has a definite, immediate upside attached to it like Shiv or Flare. Plus, I think the effect is a little bit too complicated for a Basic card.
Prepare for Battle: Overpower. Just the tutoring is enough but the fact that it is reduced by (1) made it too good since you essentially have a 1 mana draw a card.
Loaded Crossbow: Good but I think it won't see play due to the upside not being good enough to run over other weapons.
Holy Water: Overpower. Deal 3 damage cost 2 mana (Dark Bomb) and the small board definately worth more than 1 mana especially considering you don't have to draw the card.
Devoted Watcher: Balance but I feel this is more suitable for TGT set.
Fiery Witch: Slightly too strong. Deal 2 damage board clear is worth about 4 mana and having a premium 2 mana body just for 2 more is definately above the power curve. I don't know the fact that it came out 2 turn later and the effect won't scale with SD is enough.
Chant of Protection. Underpower. Cost too much to see any use.
Mystical Energy: Good and interesting mechanic but I think it may limit design space on how much cards that can add the spell tokens
Selfless Sacrifice: A little too strong. Compare with Savage Roar
Open the Hellmouth: A little too strong. Compare with Twisting Nether
Faith: Too strong. Warrior's Quest and Executus both has to work for the big Hero Power or their Hero is extremely low health while Faith not only can heal but has an arguably equal in strength Hero Power.
The rest I think is balance.

Long time no post on this thread. Here's my review of Naxx and GvG:
Overall thought: Most of the cards are really... bland? None of them really stands out compare to the cards of the other classes and doesn't seem to have clear focus. A few of the stand out are: Stun Gun, Xi, Wiccan Assistant and Transmogrify
Xi: Really good design and would push Mech Slayers immensely
Wicca Assistant: Really good control card. Compare with Kabal Songstealer. This will give this class tools to nullify the rampage Deathrattle swamp.
Transmogrify: Fill a hole neatly in this class.
Stun Gun: Nice anti-mech card! The only down side is that its stat. I would reduce the cost by 1.
Throw Knife: A little too strong compare with Avenging Wrath.
Gothic Assassin: Will most of the time be a Jungle Panther. Compare with Master of Disguise. I also very confuse about this card flavor the Naxx expansion.
Steampunk Slayer: This card will never see play since this class has Trusted Crossbow.
Dimensional Flux: REAALLY high variance. I really hate this card.

I didnt go through it all, but how exactly those Slayer cards work? I mean wont u just clog your hand with em, since they dont seem to disapear, ever? So more Hero Power u use, the less cards can u hold? Am i missing something or is that intentional?
Fantastic flavor. The "slayers through the ages" is wonderful fluff, and adding new ones from different eras with each expansion is inspired.
Tons of Buddy references, and well done throughout.
Basic Set is the Basic Scooby Squad + basic Buffy tropes. Nice
Nothing that seems OP on the first overview.
No C'thun card (is that supposed to be like Hunter class had no class-specific C'thun?)
Slayer tribal seems good (not OP, but synergistic in flavor and crunch. Ex: Potential Recruit not being a Slayer is flavorful, and makes sure it doesn't "Zerus" into itself)
All in all a wonderful custom class. I'm subscribing in hopes of seeing future expansion changes. Great work!

Shatterstar, thank you so so much for taking the time to review this class (and sorry I didn't thank you after the first round you gave - it's hugely appreciated!!!). The biggest thing I want to point out is that many cards are intentionally made to not be fantastic. In Hearthstone, we have class cards that are staples in all decks of that class (see: Swipe, Fireball) and plenty of class cards that are never played in constructed. So, my goal was to match this pattern. And cards like Dimensional Flux, with insane RNG, are simply a part of the game... especially in GvG (hello Unstable Portal!!). So the fact that you hate that card is totally fine/an intention part of the design, if that makes sense. ;D
I'll definitely be taking a good look at all of your feedback and seeing if there are tweaks I want to make here and there. I workshopped this class to DEATH in the class development thread, but I'll definitely take all of your thoughts into consideration!!

Thanks for checking this out ^__^ Well, you spend 2 mana getting the card, and basically it changes in your hand each turn you hold it. You choose when to use it, and once you do it's gone/the transformation doesn't occur. So they do disappear - when you cast them!

Unique Slayer minions that support your hero and each other! To avoid confusion with the Slayer hero and the Slayer minions, I use "Slayer minions" in card text to indicate the race/tribe/minion type.
NOSTALGIC ART/FLAVOR FEATURING YOUR FAVORITE VAMPIRE SLAYER AND HER FRIENDS!!!
Fearless Fighter: Good card for Arena, most likely useless in Constructive due to the fact that Mage, Paladin and Rogue will usually damage you by then or the player would usually want to kill a minion through weapon or the Slayer's Strength spell.
Eliminate Evil: Now THIS is interesting. Board clear is good when you play from behind, but this card is insane if you play just slightly ahead or is in equal spot in term of minions. The fact that this class doesn't have ways of summoning Slayer tokens except for the Slayerbot seems to keep this card from truly dominating, but I proceed this card will be slotted if the meta favor mid-range (which seems to be around the Shaman Year of Terror).
Slayer's Focus: This HP is bonker and ensure that Justicar Truehart will be run as late game in almost every Slayers deck in this era. Totemic Slam isn't good enough to run Justicar (and because Shaman sucks) but the ability to choose either heal, draw or gain +3 attack each turn and/or plans ahead is bonker. Gadgetzan Auctioneer might see play in this class just because of this HP. Good job!
One-Handed Crossbow: Light's Justice don't see play, this card will not either.
First Aid: Too weak compare to Circle of Healing, especially with no synergy with cards like Light of the Naaru, Northshire Cleric and Auchenai Soulpriest. The utility of healing your hero isn't good enough especially healing for 4 is one of the potential outcome of your Hero Power. Is this intentional? I'd drop the cost to 1 or even 0.
Steady Swordfighter: Insane card. God-tier for Arena and is usable in Constructive. I think the weapon should take a hit in stats since this card will dominate the 3-mana slots in every single Slayer decks.
Fighting Stance: Doomhammer only see play as a finisher, so this card might see play as a one-off, especially with Slayer's Focus.
Empowered Nomad: Kind of... weird design? Most of the other cards have synergy when there is a minion on the field, but this card is the opposite. Not sure how good it is.
Spirited Wiccan: Good control card. Seems like a good one of to counter Sylvanas or Rag in this era.
Vengeance Demon: Seems weak. Would be stronger and less frustrating if it only target minions. An Arcane Missiles for 2 mana each turn just seems slow.
Manifest Vision: A bonker card. Comparable with Duplicate and Unstable Portal. This will DEFINATELY see played in slower decks.
William the Bloody: Too slow. The class has much better value engine in Justicar, Manifest Vision and Xi, so it doesn't need this card.
Escape Route: Seems really swingy. Not a big fan.
Cast Out Spirit: Now THIS I like. Reward forward planning for a big swing turn.
Tomb Scout: Rather... bland? The flavor is off, the effect isn't strong and seems to not fit in any kind of deck.
Overall thought: Now THIS is something I like to see. While some of the cards are weak, they all have interesting flavor and design space, which is something I found lacking in the GvG set.
Now that done, I'd love to hear your opinion on my Custom Class and the rest of my expansion (see in my description). No pressure though, I know you are busy so just drop in when you have the time.

NOSTALGIC ART/FLAVOR FEATURING YOUR FAVORITE VAMPIRE SLAYER AND HER FRIENDS!!!
Now, onto the rest. Cards that I don't mention are ones that I don't have any strong feeling about.
Covert Killer: WOW this is a powerful card. Deal 4 damage is worth about 3.5 mana (Shadow Bolt).
Forbidden Force: Severely UP and weirdly designed. All randomly split cards have a cost-mana ratio in favor of the damage, so the fundamental idea makes it UP.
Wiccan Blaze: Uninteractive and frustrating to play. This can ensure OTK out of nowhere with Malygos and just randomly good draw / discover / spell adding effect.
Graveyard Ambush: Extremely potent N'Zoth decks with the power to resummon Sylvanas Windrunner and instantly dealing 5 damage. I see this as a one-off.
Dark Willow: Seems a little bit weak since she does nothing the turn she is played. Although her presence just scream people tech in Big Game Hunter. The art also looks extremely out of place from the set.
Damsel In Dispatch: Interesting card and the flavor is spot on.
Star-Crossed Lovers: Might have potential if the class is given better Demons. At it stand, will not see any play.
Stand And Fight: I think it's a little too strong. The Taunt is enough for this class, especially with cards like Damsel in Dispatch, Dark Willow, Corrupted Potential and Twisted Wiccan in the class (all of them are good Silence targets for Twisted Wiccan, Rush to Safety, Hush and Jungle Juju) as well as Neutrals like Ancient Watcher and Humongous Razorleaf in Un'Goro. This might push Silence Slayers to be viable. I think the Taunt is good enough. Might reduce the cost to 0.
Chosen Recruit: Again, too many RNG for so little pay off. The effect doesn't worth 5 mana since you are unlikely to actually plays the minions. I suggest reduce the cost to 4 and made it Discover the minions. Much better flavor too.
Squad Leader Satsu: This just scream uninteractive decks. This is why Master of Disguise was nerfed. Permanently stealth Gadgetzan Auctioneer for a class with much more survivability than Rogue and has hero power that generate cheap spells just doesn't seem fun. Plus, the art is ugly ~_~
Jungle Juju: Really neat card that symbolic of the Un'Goro flavor!!!
Tribal Chosen: Neat little search card.
Long Way Home: Seem really situational. The effect is useless if you don't have enough minions and this class doesn't have strong token generator. I suggest have the cards also give your minions +1 attack and reduce the cost to 3.
Daughter of the Wild: Weak card. Compare with Lotus Assassin.
Sage Watcher: Wow this is a cool card. Require a lot of set up but if Gentle Megasaur see play, I think this card can too.
Deja Voodoo: More unnecessary RNG. I suggest make the effect a Discover effect. Love the pun though.
Wailing Werewolf: REAAAAALLY powerful card. You can just equip a weapon turn 2-3 and hit a minion in order to bypass the effect, which then make it basically a free 4 mana 7/7. I suggest making the wolf a 5/6.
The First Slayer: The name doesn't sound like a Legendary minion. Does she have a name? If not, you can just make something up. I love the idea of the Un'Goro crater's mystery is the fact that she is still alive in this place. The effect is spot on.
Destiny's Call: Seems really easy to complete, especially with Tribal Chosen. The minions themselves are little bit UP, but I see a good Quest deck filled with about 8-10 Slayers (2 copies of Dark Age Archer, 2 Medieval Chosen, 2 Tribal Chosen, 1 the First Slayer and 1 Damsel in Dispatch with 2 Slayers tech in depends on the match up) with a lot of board clear, heal, weapon, Taunt and attack buff be a serious contender. If the deck is ever OP, I think just remove the Slater tag on Tribal Chosen.
Edit: After 4 days, I realized that Wiccan Blaze is minion only. Oops! In that case, it's fine.
