What if on turn 9 I play Gruul -> Conceal. On turn 10 I play Master of Disguise -> Sunwalker and Basically resume the slow, control-type endgame until Gruul's stats reach lethal.
Ragnaros deals damage at the end of your turn so he will unstealth himself. Any damage done while in stealth breaks the effect of stealth. Gruul is another story... I don't know how that'll work.

look up the deck "stealth-O-bot" it's a rogue control deck that uses this combo w gruul, alexstraza, ysera, and deathwing. Super gimmicky but it uses conceals and alarm-o-bots to get these minions out by turn 4. Then uses patient assassins, emperor cobras and master of disguises to keep the board cleared and your win conditions hidden :D
I guess you could try to keep a Tinkmaster/Black Knight/Assassinate in your hand until you can make use of Gruul. Might be dangerous to hold back your removal for too long but could pay off with this deck.
Anyways, I'll try this deck out as soon as I have Gruul. Not going to craft him in the near future, so that might take a while... He's a fun card though, enjoyed using him in Arena. I definitely appreciate people trying to find ways to make him work in interesting ways.

If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.
@rabidwhale - with the stealth-o-bot deck specifically, that is why you use sap/emperor cobra/patient assassin for the board control. I use sap in my combo rogue deck and it is honestly a great tempo card / a vital piece to win conditions.
Slightly different but would stealthed Hogger reveal himself when he spawns the 2/2 taunt guys or could you stealth him and just get a 2/2 taunt for free until AOE takes him out?

As I get more cards, this is a deck I really want to try, for no other reason then because Gruul sees little to no play. But the problem is the deck would have to have a HUGE focus on mid game control, you'd need a nearly empty board on turn 9 to get him out, and have at the very least a weapon to hold control during the turn 10 master of disguise. But it would be pretty cool overall since your opponents life total wont be nearly as important as board control throughout the game. Although... The deck would be an instant concede vs paladins, if Gruul gets equality concecrated, its GG most likely.
the major problem with stealth gruul is that its so costly that it wont happen until the late game, and by then the match should have been over already, you wont have many removal spells to keep that board clean, since rogues arent known for their 2 for 1 spells. its usually the other way around because of combos. so really rogues want to finish the game quickly.
though if you want to make a stealth deck, I would highly suggest a different approch, and like someone mentioned alarm-o-bot is a great target, another target would be the questing adventure, stealth it and keep playing cards and it'll be pretty huge, or mana addict, same effect except its only with spells. throw in a head crack to continue to casting spells. since the card comes back into your hand if you combo it. and then add in a edwin since your combo so many cards. though the only problem I see if card draw, you'll have to have some sprints, or other ways to draw cards otherwise your hand is going to disappear fast and you wont have much card advantage at all.
I wouldnt bother stealthing hogger since paying 6 mana just to continously spawn 2/2 taunts isnt really worth the mana, you'd want to attack with that 4/4 body, and protecting it for 1 turn isnt going to make much of a difference. i'd also include saps and assassinates, and owls to help remove those taunts for when you go for the final blow. that should make an interesting deck.

Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!
Great idea. I think it might be even more fun to stealth ragnaros. 8 damn per turn and no way to stop it.

you'll probably win.

Sometimes you have to risk it for the biscuit
The only problem with gruul is he is so late game, it will take a few turns for him to become dangerous and 1 taunt ruins the combo.

The Questing Adventurer version of this seems to be more practical to me IMO

Hogger does NOT reveal himself after summoning his taunts. It works lovely :)
BRB making rogue gimmick deck. The 25% of games I will win will be EPIC
it may work, just look out for the hunter and priest respective cards: Flare, Deadly Shot and Mass Dispel.
Now that sounds pretty sweet. I may have to try it out sometime.
One of those cards I've never seen used. One I've only ever seen used as a means of getting card draw on turn 1.

25% of the time it works ALL the time!
