interesting card. Warrior doesn't have any class minions with taunt so this MIGHT be hinting at some taunt monsters for warriors.
also, among out current crop of taunts, we dont have many that appear in warriors
Unstable Ghoul (not really seen much anymore due to all the grim mirrors), Dread Corsair, Sen'jin Shieldmasta (budget), Sludge Belcher/Slime. sludge is really the only taunt thats worth running though like i said, we could get new taunts to make this really worth it.
Rexxar has been complaining about Taunt all this time, and his fellow Orc came up with a brilliant idea to turn this horrible mechanic into a weapon of face destruction:
I think it is meant to compete with fiery waraxe, but if it can't be equipped in turn 2, then I don't think it will be used at all. You want 4-5 damage hits beyond turn 3 where this axe come in. We only use ghoul, belcher and shieldmaster in decks, so it would gain 1-2 durability. Which I don't think is worth the extra mana cost and low damage in so late part of the game.
Interesting card, but warrior already has Win Axe which is way better and 3 dmg on turn 3 is already to slow in a world with Spidertank, Totemgolem etc.
Ill wait that one Turn for Deathbite anytime so this card propably will see no play either.
it is cheap enough to consider usable unlike the rogue weapon. However, there aren't a lot of current synergies where warrior would be able to use this.

It is an interesting idea, but I think using 5 cards to make 1 weapon is not good. Then it can also be lost to a slime or harrison. So the game is lost if that happens.
All of these cards are currently being discussed, seems real to me. There was even a picture of a presentation from the stream somewhere with Priest card on it.

Sen'jin's actually seeing some use in control warrior, as it's much better against patron than belcher. It comes usually before the death's bite has attacked early game, and lategame it doesn't summon the 1-2.
But to the point, I could see this card replacing 1 fiery war axe, as that slot has already been really tentative, if we get more reliable taunts in Warrior.
This expansion seems to be trying to slow down the meta, thank god. The taunt synergy implies they want people to run more taunts and slower cards. Depending on where the meta goes, I can see this is a good anti-aggro card when synergized with other anti-aggro (taunt) cards. In a control-heavy meta, combo decks will be quite the scourge, so this might do well in those when you can taunt up to save yourself from a combo, and play this to get a 3/3 or 3/4 weapon for 3 mana. All in all, this card seems decent, but at this point, not good enough to include in any decks over, say, a 3-drop minion, a different weapon, or just a better card in general. Can't wait to see it being experimented with.

I don't. Fiery War Axe is there to stop early game aggression. Since it costs one more mana and without taunts (which you will not have that early) you won't get any benefit. Mid to late game, there are better options already for the warrior. You will see it as much as the Ogre Warmaul.
Also I think the Target Dummy / Upgrade! shenanigan is more competitive than it seems, it generates 30 damage for 5 mana. This would require a completely different deck, so yeah please, stop the whining it's too early for that.
This guy is right. You can abuse this weapon to make it face damage clock enemy need to protect himself against, while you defensive game. Not everyone uses anti-weapon tech, and 5 damage every turn is huge.
Because the card was made on hearthcards based on the live informations that we had, but the pic was awful so they had to make a readable copy ? Take that as you will.
I take it as being unverified and unofficial, and therefore subject to change.

It's a TW release which happened shortly after Scared Warrior. Source, http://www.twitch.tv/hearthstonezhtw/v/8394130, at around 1:24:50
Taunt meta here we goooo!
Don't Complain, Use Your Brain!
a shit card. At least there is no room for it in the current warrior decks.

Target Dummy x 2 + King's Defender + Upgrade! x 2 = 5/6 weapon for 5 mana! Now if you add Shieldbearer into the mix...
You're welcome!

That's because he won one of the card design competitions? derp. Think before commenting.
Opps, my bad! Thanks for the correction.
Yum!
RIP yogg-saron good things don't last forever :(
Like Poisoned Blade, the weapon border here is not the same one used in game - it's the one used over at hearthcards.net. Take that as you will.
