I've said this multiple times in multiple threads: It really looks like blizzard wants every archetype for every class to be viable. This is a control hunter card. So is Call Pet. So is Starving Buzzard.
Currently, when you see a class on Ladder, you probably know what kind of deck it is. There are exceptions. Handlock/zoo, backspace/miracle, etc. but this wil make it so that you truly have no idea. I'm excited.
Compare this to Velen or Antonidas (7m class leg). Dev team is sure to lose their sense of balance with time.
Stop people will playing the game? C'mon, stop overhyping this card. This card doesn't have charge, its effect is fun, until you realize that in constructed, more often than not, people are going to spend premium removal on it. If you were fortunate enough to play a 7 mana legendary and have it survive a turn, chances are your opponent is in huge trouble anyway. With that being said, it's not comparable to Velen' and Antonidas' effects, as those two at least get value in the turn they are played if they are comboed with spell damage.
Yall hunter lovers deserved this poop card for not voting Malorne!
Uhh what...? This card is really good.. a 6/9 for 7 mana is outstanding byitself but the effect makes it even more amazing. Not sure if serious or you're just an idiot but then again I would expect no less from a post from Nuba.
It's still pretty vulnerable to BGH, it just requires dealing damage to it first. That doesn't however make it seem bad to me. Could definitely see dropping something for this in some midrange hunter decks though haha.
Solid, I like it. It demands hard removal asap, could do well in bigger decks and OTK potential is always nice. The stats alone are really good and I can imangine to see some control builds with it. *did he just say CONTROL?* Yes, I did. People don't understand, that hunters have the perfect ability for long games. Why the rush? Sit down, taunt up, and deal a little damage every turn. Then drop your big guys and it's over really fast. I'd even include Baron Geddon and other 7+ attack minions, just to bait out BGH. This will be awesome.
Perfect power for the long game? 2 dmg per turn is decent in control matchups but how exactly does a Control Hunter's hero power help them against aggressive decks? It's completely dead against aggro.

Yes, exactly! Each class needs more diversity. I haven't been all that excited about the previous mechs and whatnot reveals, but I like where this is going now. We're finally seeing some real cards! :D

I am enjoying how ppl r dismissing any good big card "cause it will get removed or silenced" ... rotfl so what? u already have trilion cards that needs to be hard removed in most of the current decks and u cant remove them all already, so these new cards can be very powerfull as other already existing cards r when played right/smartly/on curve etc. instead of ppl being happy that we get new cards and new(er?) playstyles for all classes, they QQ and the argument is: "it doesnt fit in current meta" ... cmon srsly ur not all 5yr old r u ?
While you aren't wrong about Steady Shot's inability to help control the board, you're mistaken about the necessity of a hero power that does that.
Handlock is an extremely effective control deck. Warlock hero power helps get cards in hand - giving more answers to minions.
Warrior has an effective control deck because Armor Up keeps him alive long enough to outlast his opponent.
Only Priest and Mage have the characteristic you describe, helping them to trade efficiently.
Hunter hero power forces the opponent to try to kill the hunter quickly because he can always bypass taunt for 2 damage to the face. The need for a finisher like Grom is reduced. Hunter can make every single minion and spell about board control and just whittle away at the hero.
The Call Pet/Tundra Rhino/Gahzrilla dream!! If the old Unleash the Hounds was still around, this card would be so broken.
I seriously don't know what to think of this card though. If Gahzrilla becomes popular, it will just eat removal every time it comes into play. It's also half in BGH range in its ability gets triggered. But if Midrange Hunter comes back, there's double Highmane and this card, and having removal for all of them is going to be tough. Sucks I probably won't be able to get this card at release to play with =(
It doesn't really dodge bgh. All opponent has to do is ping it and then BGH it.
Still really strong if it survives the turn. I think it should have read "Any time this creature is dealt damage, it gains double that damage in attack." Would make more sense from the double head growing perspective.
Strong contender for the 7mana slot for sure. Not an auto-include however.
Dodges BGH
Survives Rag/Giant hits
Who are you talking about? Fuckin Core Hound?
If you aren't playing with beasts, then you woulda been better of picking a different class. Hunter has too many mediocre control cards.
Calm down, I'm saying this is a good choice for what you'd play on 7 mana considering all the other cards you might want to use (including GvG cards that still have yet to be released).
Reminds me of the hydras from MTG. Very easy to become insane. The fact it has 6 attack base means it can't be immediately big game huntered. This card alone may make me play hunter that's how good it is.
Edit: This can lead to and easy turn 8 victory, assuming this card was played on turn 7 and left alone. All you would need to do is:
Wild pyro+Arcane shot+Arcane shot+Elven archer+Elven Archer. This is 8 damage and buffs the minion 6 times on top of the base 6. Meaning that's a 42 attack minion on turn 8; assuming the draw gods are with you. You also have 2 mana left to spare!
Now THIS is a card...

Turn before you use Call Pet and get Tundra Rhino, 1 mana thundra rino (2 damage) + Gahz'rilla + 2 elven archer + 1 arcane shot (48) = 50 damage.

If you can protect Tundra Rhino for 1 turn...
If it is played without charge, Grommash is way better than this. But Hunter is powerful enough, they shouldn't get a legendary better than Grommash.
Uhh what...? This card is really good.. a 6/9 for 7 mana is outstanding byitself but the effect makes it even more amazing. Not sure if serious or you're just an idiot but then again I would expect no less from a post from Nuba.
50 damage... for the low cost of 11 mana.
If for some reason you only have 10 mana, you can still do 26 damage with this combo though. Not as flashy, but in most cases just as effective.
It's still pretty vulnerable to BGH, it just requires dealing damage to it first. That doesn't however make it seem bad to me. Could definitely see dropping something for this in some midrange hunter decks though haha.

Can always add two gadg for a spell heavy type of hunter deck.

Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!
it's already been leaked - it's Vol'Jin. Google it. Basically he has 6/2 and a battlecry that swaps life with any minion. can't remember the cost.
