The only thing Blizz will do is indirectly buffing these quest with new cards that will work with these quest. It's sad that only 1 out of 9 quests are viable. Well it was 2 before the Rogue quest nerf but this really shows how incompetent they are at creating cards. Seriously blizz...test the cards with good HS players before releasing them ffs.
Sorry if this is already asked but how long is each game on average? Is there a cap or time limit?
How about deck diversity? Are there many viable types of decks for laddering?
From what I've read so far it seems I NEED to give this game a try. I have been playing HS just after beta and was a fan for long time but as more expansions come out ...the more RNG comes with it and to a point where i absolutely cannot stand anymore(stopped for 2 months). I am not talking about RNG in drawing into the right cards but the totally unnecessary RNG built into ALOT of the cards like Rag, Syl, Knife Juggler, Animal Companion, webspinner(I am not a fan of Ben Brode), Yogg(omfg) etc...that can literally decide games. I've also lost interest in watching the pros streaming or tournament b/c the decision making are often not interesting and/or skillful and at times these 'pros' choose to yolo more than anything.
Agreed that a lot of legendaries are totally unplayable just like GvG.
Garbage like Nat is just mind blowing. Even as 2 mana 3/4, it won't be played because card draw is like the most important aspect of the game.
Or cards like Yogg is totally waste of design resource/effort/card slot as it won't see competitive play. Sure you get a few laughs here and there but that's about it.
This will be the first time that I won't be spending real money pre-ordering 40 packs.
It's better for Blizz to release power underwhelming/weak/underrated/bad cards rather than making their own past mistakes releasing over powerful cards and then have to nerf them at the end. At least it's something they learned. The majority of the new cards might just be at the playable level, that makes the overall picture of this expansion look weak. But we will have new cards to try out and have fun as this is just a game (competitive or not gives the flavor), you don't need powerful cards to be enjoying a game.
I totally disagree with you. LoE for example is the perfect set of cards that is meta changing...creative....none of its cards are OP and they're just right.....RNG and aggro cards are kept at minimal. I really had high hopes for this expansion but like alot of people from what's been revealed except a few card here and there are mostly underwhelming.
I can't believe they continue to design these type of cards knowing the final result is that this card will not change the meta...never be played in ranked...antoher waste of a card slot
So in order to use this card, the spells in your deck better be AOE effect or only has a single valid target.
Spells that can make sure of this card(on top of my head):
Flamestrike
Flame Cannon
Arcane Intellect
Froze Nova
Blizzard
Equality
Consecration
All secrets
Lay on Hands(the heal will be random but you still draw 3 cards)
Not sure how I feel about this card yet...I feel like there could be a deck that can work with this but at the same time. it seems there will be too much RNG involved.
Even say for example, Pally have already used Equality and Consecration so playing this guy it will have the following scenario:
Silence in general seems fine to me but in certain situation I do feel it is too strong. For example, I play Sludge against aggro deck and the opponent just owls it and now can attack me for free.
So a change I do like to see is that maybe Silence cannot remove taunt.
In other situation like control vs control, I think it is fine...e.g. I feel it's OK if opponent silence my Syl, Tiron, Mad scientist...I still have a body that they need to deal with.
I found combo version very inconsistent and Reno archetype is already inconsistent by itself so I like the Stalagg Feugen version better. I don't play abusive sergent and used Refreshment vendor instead in this aggrofest meta.

I am enjoying the meta. This is usually the best time for HS for me as people are trying new decks and I have fun losing to really creative decks.
Games do tend to be longer which is not a bad thing...quality over quantity any time.

Extremely boring, uncreative card... Why waste a slot that only gives only 5 stats for 2 mana? Are you really out of ideas already Blizz?

This card is definitely meta defining. As more cards that hurt yourself are being introduced, the better this card becomes.
