Unless you really need/want something right now I would keep it for the next expansion coming in about two months. Because you'll open more Classic packs until then and won't risk get another copy.

Totally agree on that.
If you don't need the dust at the moment, I would keep it. You will not get another Onyxia as long as you have it in your collection.
Maybe evolve shaman will get big some day again... this is played sometimes.
Agree with those who says save for now. You will get to play with here for some time, and when the rotation comes and the meta settles you can trade it in for another legendary which might be more useful for you.
You can dust it safely, Onxyia is so outclassed by other standard legendaries that there is basically a zero chance that any new meta will see it become used. Even though dusting it means you may pull it again, if this particular one is golden, then it's a "choose a free legendary," which is stupid not to trade in because you're scared to pull another one. The payoff is greater if you simply dust it for a legendary you know want and will use.
For the people who say wait for the new meta, they have a point. You are better off saving the dust for the new meta. So my advice is to feel free to dust it, but don't use the dust until the next expansion and rotation.

If he shouldn't use the dust until the rotation, what would be the point in dusting it now? If he keeps it he can still play around with it and decide if he likes it up until the rotation hits.

You're right, it's just that if it were me, I know I would never play it since it's not a particularly unique or powerful, so I would just dust it anyway. My general advice is basically to feel free to dust it, and if you do, save the dust. But indeed while you have it, might as well play around with it until the dust is useful.
I'd like to argue for 3 changes in the tier list. I'll try to offer a theoretical reason and then a statistical reason using numbers from hsreplay.
1. Anduin (Down to tier 2 from tier 1) Anduin is currently a tier 1 card and it used to make a lot of sense. As the strongest deck in the meta was "razakus" priest an Anduin was a staple card as it enables the combo. However with nerfs to raza, razakus priest is no longer a thing in the ladder. The other use Anduin has is as a TECH card against midrange decks, as for 8 mana you get to clean "big boards" that are prevalent in mid range decks or maybe more lategame like jade, big spell mage with Alana, etc.
Currently is used in around 20-25% of priest decks, and it tends to be as a way to counter other decks more than as a staple card in all decks. Dragon or Spiteful summoner priests CAN include, but they don't have to and often they do not do it. Therefore I believe its proper place should be tier 2, with the tech cards.
2. Rexxar (Up to tier 1 from tier 2) Rexxar was considered a tier 2 legendary as it was played in some hunter decks but this decks were not very strong and were often considered tier 3-4 decks. However, with the nerf patch this has changed. Now Rexxar in played in 75% of the hunter decks (if you filter for rang 10+ in order to take away some low ladder noise) and those decks (control and spell hunter) are considered to be tier 1 or at least high tier 2 decks.
Therefore I consider that Rexxar is not a tech card anymore but a staple card for the hunter class that now plays a lot of Control Hunter and Spell hunter where the card is a MUST include.
3. Sonya Shadowcaller (Down to tier 3 from tier 2) As its stated in the post itself, Sonya was considered a tier 2 tech card because it could be included in tempo rogue in order to tech against certain things. But right now tempo rogue is not played anymore due to 10.2 nerfs. This means that in order to keep its position as a tier 2 decks Sonya should have found a new home in other rogue decks. But it has not.
If we check some numbers we can see that the card is not included in mill rogue nor in miracle rogue. Its play % is only 11, much lower than Valeera at 33% or van Cleef at 65%. The card is definitely interesting but it currently has no home. Therefore I believe it should be considered a tier 3 card, playable but not really part of the meta.
I hope you find this helpful. I was just trying to add my bit to the list and the community. Have a good day!
I opened rotface in gold and i feel that even though he is fun his novelty had already worn off. I am a wild player with a decent collection not nothing special , and i really am enjoying control hunter , but i am lacking its main card kathetena.
Do you think it is a good idea to switch these legendaries? I know it is not the best legendary but i got many of the important ones.
yeah man, if you have a large collection like streamers do, you might wanna keep golden legendaries for good look. but if you are just an ordinary guy then dust it, not worth the cost. Play Zola on Marin the Fox and here you go golden legendaries.
If you do not play warrior in general and have card you need for a deck you will get more out of, do it. But make up with yourself if you are done getting packs in the expansion the card you want to dust is from, especially if you will be crafting something from the same expansion. If you are done, go right ahead and dust for glory.
It sounds like you should dust it. If you don't care that much for the card... its 1600 dust! If you really need another legendary to 'make' your favorite deck... get it b/c you got the dust. If you're just playing for fun and are just an average player (not a completionist or a streamer) go after the cards you want and are going to use. There is no use holding onto golden cards you don't really want. The "what if it gets good in another meta" argument is a bit moot to me when dealing with golden cards (especially golden legendaries).

Golden legendary = choose your own legendary. Unless you would choose exactly Onyxia, you can dust her
Dust it with confidence!
In medias res, there is no more or less...

The World Is Yours
However, if you need the dust.... its probably a good DE.

Whenever you open a golden legendary always play with it for 20 games before you disenchant it :)

Should I disenchant my normal Rotface ? :)))) Since Warrior is shit right now. :))
