Just wondering what, for you guys, is the best legendary to craft in this meta for the moment. It's also a great way of letting people craft (or not craft) stuff without any regrets.
Also, please let us know which legendary you voted for, and why!
If you really have to pick a SINGLE legendary to craft, then The Lich King. As a neutral minion, it can be put into any class you might play. It fits into a wide range of midrange and control decks. It is certainly NOT the most powerful card in the set, but considering usage and flexibility, The Lich King is really no-brainer. It has immediate impact to your board state with its 8/8 taunt body, and also replace himself with a deathknight spell in your hand. If left unchecked, it simply wins you the game. The opponent is forced to deal with it immediately.
The three princes are just too situational even if they somehow becomes good. The deck limitation simply isn't friendly to players if they are on-a-budget, so to speak. If you have a specific deck that you are sure to be playing for the coming 12 months, then yes, do craft away. This also goes for the DK hero cards as well. While some of them are quite good, you really need to invest deeply into some of the class cards to be able to effectively use them.
Funny enough, The Lich King reminds me of Dr. Boom. As a 7-mana card, Dr. Boom is of course very powerful, and can goes into a lot more decks with its cheaper cost. But what if Dr. Boom has taunt, and instead of summoning 2 boombots, it simply adds 2 boombots into your hand that cost 1 mana? Will it still be the plague that people had once whined about for like eternity? Or will it be a crappy card?

I completely agree Mesmerizeer! The Lich King is even better than Dr. 7 for the insta value it provides. Having a 8/8 taunt as soon as played is good, not great though. But getting such a value town kind of card to play next turn and making your opponent get rid of a ultra important t removal card of his as soon as he is dropped, is insane! So yeah, even though my love for Dr. Boom will always be there, I need to admit that The Lich King is a new and improved Dr. 8!
In a different matter, I think those charts shows pretty spot on how good the set legendaries are right now.
Of course The Lich King is winning, but in my honest opinion, he's not even close (in power) to Death Knights such as Shadowreaper Anduin and Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Those two DK's for me are sooo good. The insta value they have plus the late value (a bit like The Lich King actually) are what makes them so great. The main difference is that there's no hard counter (or any counter for that matter) for any of the Death Knights, which makes them for me the best cards in game atm.

Not sure if i agree that the Lich King is best craft, hes certainly seen alot of play as a good taunt and atleast 1card generator.
I personally enjoy the DeathKnights as they make the gameplay stretch, i know some may not be grateful for that.
I love Golden Thrall for obvious reasons
Wild Paladin fun
I was lucky to get Anduin, Gul'dan, Malfurion in packs so it was easy to just craft the Lich King.
Now that more time has passed and I crafted Thrall and Jaina, I like both of those the best.
