I know this is all salt but seriously I don't know how these cards made it passed quality control.
Cloaked Huntress This card is just complete BS. As if hunter secrets weren't stupidly annoying as it is now they can play them for freaking nothing. At least Kirin Tor Mage is balanced, you get ONE free secret, that's it. This one you can vomit a whole hand full of them. Combine it with Lock and Load. It's as bad as Mysterious Challenger. Did blizzard just not learn from that garbage?
Snipe Garbage card. Too much free damage. So many decent cards are utterly destroyed by this. Aside from having Eater of Secrets(do battle cries come before secrets? I don't know really) you can't really play around this. It's hard to really predict hunter secrets because they're all good early game.
Freezing Trap F this card, F it so hard. Aside from being a cheap removal you're also screwing with your opponent's mana. If this just removed the card, That would be one thing. Making it cost 2 more is just absurd. If it worked AFTER the attack finished, that would be acceptable. But no, you get to completely devalue 2 of your opponents turns for the measly cost of 2 mana, or 0. Stupid stupid stupid.
Vaporize Mage secrets for the most part are pretty fair. They're also pretty predictable because there's only a couple people actually use depending on their mage deck. I don't see anyone really run this secret, but getting it from cobalist's tome or Babbling Book is kind of like a free kill. And people don't seem to expect it because I've had people throw their 8/8s at me maybe expecting Ice Barrier or Counterspell (which is also a little broken but usually predictable) or Mirror Entity and then poof, bye bye big minion. Secrets that directly impede your opponents actions rather than coming after the action just seem too Yu Gi Oh to me. I think it's stupid but maybe that's just me
Anomalus What is it with Mages and getting garbage legendaries? This was the best they could come up with? The other class legendaries with the WotOG expansion were at least situationally okay. This one is the worst of them all.
Brawl Seriously, this card. I made a warrior deck just to test out this card, and do some quests, and it's absurd. It has pretty much no draw back. You obviously don't play it if you have any kind of board. If you do you're probably an idiot. If you have Sylvanas Windrunner on the field it pretty much guarantees a positive outcome. It's just too cheap. Flamestrike is a flat 4 damage for 7. Enter the Coliseum SOMEHOW costs more than this card. This is a near total board wipe for 5. Bad bad bad bad. Twisting Nether is a total wipe for 8. Brawl should be 7 or 8.
Divine Spirit + Inner Fire what the actual #$%&. Pardon me I hope you don't mind my turn 3 10/10 Lightwell. Yeah priests suck right now but how do you balance a class when you have crap like this they can exploit. Turn 5 -> any 6 HP minion. Turn 6 -> Power Word: Shield -> 2x Divine Spirit -> Inner Fire -> 32/32 minion OTK.
Vilefin Inquisitor Oh hey, not like Paladin didn't already have the best murloc cards out there, lets give then another one to annoyingly exploit into oblivion.
Steward of Darkshire I find token decks to be beyond obnoxious, this card coupled with other paladin cards just gives me a brain aneurysm. Not to mention combining this card with Stand Against Darkness takes FOREVER to finish. Speaking of which. How is that card only a 5 cost...
Naturalize 1 cost destroy any minion. Yeah your opponent gets to draw 2 cards but who cares, you can mitigate that pretty easily by playing half smart.

*patiently awaits insults instead of explanations*
Why did you bother writing this thread then? I have no explanation but these cards you mentioned are straight up OP when they are played right under the correct conditions. I mean, how often you get the full OP value anyways? Cards meant to compliment each other in a way or another and yes some of the cards you mentioned like Cloaked Huntress is absurdly unbalanced compared Kirin Tor Mage I totally stand up by your side. All in all, I understand your salty feelings about these cards and explaining designing decisions by Team 5 is pointless by this point. GLHF
Well, Vilefin can be a pain in the ass if you're a murloc Pally, that's for sure. Get it off Burgle or Huckster and just watch them concede when they realise they can't win anymore. I heard some Paladins even tech it in when they meet too many Anyfins.
This sounds like a complete whine thread. All I hear is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Why would you want explanations, you're already set in your ignorant opinion.
I mean, you think vilefin is unbalanced....just wow.
1.) The topic is EXPLAIN because I want to hear ACTUAL ARGUMENTS. 2.) Vilefin is unbalanced in that palidin already had a really good class murloc card. They didn't need any more.
I suppose you missed the point where the others were SITUATIONALLY useful. Volazj can be used in a deathrattle deck pretty effectively UNDER CERTAIN SITUATIONS. I didn't say he was good. Anomalus has no synergy with anything, at all, period. Hunter legendaries also have SOME situational usefulness, hell King Crush is better than Anomalus...All of the priest legendaries are better than anomalus. I honestly cannot think of a class legendary that's worse than Anomalus, except maybe Flame Leviathan.
Cloaked Huntress- Yes it is pretty op, but Face Hunter is better. Compared to Kirin Tor Mage it is pretty op, but Kirin Tor is a clunky ass card.
Snipe- You can play around this card if you're smart. Put a small minion before your valued one, have it have way more hp to make it seem as Snipe did nothing. It's more of a good win-more card and good early removal.
Freezing Trap- Again, just play around it. If you lost the game due to Freezing Trap, sucks dick. I doubt it would happen two times in a row.
Vaporize- You can extremely easily play around this. It also has the Mage make shitty trades on smaller creatures so that the vaporize isn't complete garbage. Again, if you lost to the card I doubt it would happen two times in a row.
Brawl- yes it's bs and it's going to be for a long time, but rarely it can not be as powerful as it could have been. I can agree the card is op, but in the right ways.
Anomalus- I really don't understand why you are giving shit to this card. It's giving a bad legendary to a fucking broken class in arena.
Divine Spirit + Inner Fire - This takes up two cards in your deck, 4 if you want. I haven't seen this combo in a long ass time, I haven't seen Lightwell either. Yes it's amazing WHEN IT WORKS, and usually you can just ignore the big ass minion and go face, or put a taunt up.
Vilefin Inquisitor - this card sees no play because murloc decks aren't as good as tier 1 or tier 2 decks. Suprised you're complaining about this.
Steward of Darkshire- Dude, it gives it to 1 health minions. It's a good ass card but it's not dominating the game. It'll die probably next turn and Stand Against Darkness is a board clear waiting to happen. That's how that's balanced.
Naturalize - This is good when you're in a Fatigue state. This is also in a druid class. This is also a card you're ripping on when we're in an aggro- based era where people can just draw more shit to puke on the board. In a very certain situation, yes it's good. Those situations don't come up often, for me at least.
None of you guys mentioned how playing Cloaked Huntress promotes dumping your hand, and dumping your secrets also takes away a lot of cards (and therefore options) out of your hand. If you didn't, your opponent would just kill it on their next turn so you'd have to play your secrets when you drop her. Its like when you play Mysterious Challenger except you now have less cards to immediately use. Honestly isn't that strong to me. And secret oriented Hunter decks are gimmicky at best, since they all rely mostly on Eaglehorn Bow.

Hunter complaints just get better and better. "Man, these secrets that I'd be willing to play for 2 mana ( Okay, half of them, maybe, at least 1 ), when I cast them for 0, they're not in my hand anymore !".
Next what, Thing From Below sucks because when you play it for 0 mana you gotta find something else to do with all that extra mana you have ? On top of not being in your hand anymore ! Madness !
Be real, if dumping them all at once wasn't a good thing, people wouldn't. If the card wasn't powerful, people wouldn't include subpar cards into the deck that goes with it only because of their synergy with that card. And if the deck wasn't powerful, it wouldn't be 20% of the f*cking meta.
...and Bloodfen raptor! How OP is that! Not only is it a beast but it trades up against wrathguard and Kirin tor mage! I mean seriously...bloodfen raptor is like huge toad without the rng. Such a BS card!
Cloaked Huntress- Yes it is pretty op, but Face Hunter is better. Compared to Kirin Tor Mage it is pretty op, but Kirin Tor is a clunky ass card.

Thank you. For the love of god someone actually took the time to write out a meaningful reply. While you missed a couple of my points I at least appreciate you taking the time to actually converse like a reasonable human being.
1.) I get the whole point about secrets is playing around them, but as I said hunter secrets are pretty good early game and trying to predict which one got dropped is like trying to disarm a bomb, it's not like you just know which one you're dealing with. By playing around them you're screwing up your own turn. My issue with the secrets I mentioned is that they completely nullify an action for next to no cost. If their effect took place after the action that would be reasonable. Like if vaporize hit the minion after it hit you. Or if freeze trap removed the minion after it did damage. I feel like no one bothered of even read that particular point. Snipe is just stupid, there's no fixing that.
2.) I'm shitting on anomalus because it's an absolutely shit card. I don't understand why they even thought it up. I can't even think of any scenario when it would be useful. I can understand random filler cards but making up lame legendaries is just really stupid.
3.) My issue with the inner fire divine spirit combo is that it exists at all. These cards don't really fit into the current priest decks but what happens when they do fit into a deck? a 4 card OTK that can be available as early as turn 6 is just a tad broken
4.) My issue with vilefin isn't that it's overpowered it's that it's so exploitable there's no reason to do anything else murloc related. Why play shaman murloc when they have such garbage murloc cards for instance. Nothing is being balanced with relation to other cards.
5.) I fully admit that my hatred of token decks is pretty unreasonable and that this card particular card fueling them irritates me to no end, I pretty much already said that. Mostly because token and zoo decks are so annoyingly aggro that if I don't get my board clear I'm pretty #$%&ed. The reason I don't understand the 5 cost of Stand Against darkness is because of how much synergy Silver Hand Recruits get with paladin cards. They're not just a normal 1/1 minion, and if you don't have a board clear you might well be screwed.
6.) As for naturalize, I really think it's too cheap. I get that card draw is really important, but when your best minion gets wiped away for next to nothing and your only consolation is a couple more cards in your hand that may not even help you all the while your opponent is left with a lot of flexibility.
I covered most of my counter arguments in my reply to the other guy but thank you for actually coming up with something to say other than being a troll.

Vilefin makes murloc pally even worse. 10 mana any fin and u summon 7 1/1's. that so bad
well in a way, a pretty good post.
Just missing all the other cards that might anger you in any way.
All cards should be Wisps. And all spells should deal 1 damage.
Anything else is ridiculous and clearly OP. Because...things. And stuff.

A real list is:
innervate, thing from below, tunnel trogg, flamewaker, savanah highmane and how bad the OP is at the game.
