A lot of complaints about Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and how much it screws games, especially competitive and even ladder.
I have a small yet impactful nerf idea:
During Yogg's effect, once it dies or leaves the board, the effect ends.
Example, it plays spell after spell, but once it siphon souls itself, the effect ends from there.
This maintains the fun of Yogg Saron, while still putting a cap on things. This also adds a risk factor to playing the card, as playing Yogg when your board is empty and the opponent is full is basically a "nothing to lose" situation. It could be a 10 mana card that wins a game, but also a 10 mana card that does nothing because Yogg dies quick, as we know.

Here's a nerf, make a forbidden/banned list from competitive play. All other competitive card games have it. Firebat just made a great video about it, but he didn't say banned list, which I think can take so rng out of the game and go back to the skilled decks... well playing the midrange druid vs. counters vs. their counters game. I only play wild now because all the formerly common cards(not in terms of rarity, we're talking belchers, and shredders,) have been replaced by yogg. I just think that wild rank is more skill than standard ranked, and that needs to be changed.

While the idea of a banlist is cool, note other card games also have WAY more cards than hearthstone. If a banlist comes to be, this forum will EXPLODE with people BEGGING to have certain cards added to the list, as well as tons of salt to those that recently crafted those cards or those that just want to use them and such.

If, (and this is a big if) I were to issue a nerf to Yogg, it would be something along the lines of putting a cap on how many spells he can cast. It'd have to be relatively high, like 10 or maybe even 15, but a cap. That way it's still anything goes Yogg, you just won't get the insane "Yogg casts 28 spells" anymore. Though I stand by my initial statement, I don't believe Yogg needs a nerf.
Here is my Yogg-Saron nerf. Because right now. As you know. The meta is FLOODED with Yogg-Saron. Everytime you que in its Yogg after Yogg after Yogg. Since he is a neutral as well as being stupidly broken. Every single top tier deck runs him.
Here are my suggestions.

2. Yogg casts as many spells as you cast so it has to be a spell heavy build around.

Whoa that worked better then I thought. Yogg is only in two top tier decks now. Both of which require a fair amount of skill to play with kinda balances the fact that Yogg is so random.
Seems good so far...lets see how this affected the meta...

Threads like these just emphasise on what it's like to have an opinion on the Internet. The OP made a suggestion, and I don't think it's the right way to tackle the Yogg nerf, but there isn't a need to belittle the person and call him /her an idiot.

My suggestion would be to have Yogg banned from competitive play, at the very least. As for a nerf, maybe if there was a cap on the number of spells Yogg casts? Not too sure.

Sure in line wih Blizz nerfs, but should be a 1/1 than and cost 11 mana...
Just no the card is fairly priced for what it does, doesnt need a nerf.

A spell cap is what I was aiming for with my original idea, since Yogg lasts for like 10 spells anyway, but maybe it is not the way to go.
Ban list will likely not happen, since Yogg is the only card of slight concern.
