I see how blizzard operates now. They wait for the bad news until the end so they don't have to deal with the hate as long. It happened with Karazhan (priest) and now we're getting the bad news that shaman is still #1 and will always be #1 (oh and that rogue isn't getting any meta defining cards [shout out combo Youthful Brewmaster.) Well, I'm ready for another four months of wild control warrior and freeze mage yay :(
Edit: I forgot to mention the overcompensation of kazakus-reno mage with polymorph and polymorph boar, and to complete the triangle, good old control warrior.
Many people are happy about the new nerfs, but I'm quite scared that now Shamans will get even better.
The only tier 1 decks that are competing with Shaman are Maly/Token Druid, Tempo Mage, Dragon Warrior, and Midrange Hunter. All these decks took a hard hit. However, the nerfs to Shaman were quite small.
Midrange Shaman should easily be able to find replacements. Rockbiter Weapon [/card] was used for removal, not burst, so this card could be replaced with something like [card]Stormcrack - some Midrange Shamans doesn't even run Doomhammer..
My point is, Shaman got nerfed, but the other decks competing with Shaman got nerfed even harder, so doesn't that make Shaman even better?
so basically you watched Reynad's video and want opinions on it? Shaman will keep dominating the game until tgt and loe rotate out (losing trogg, thunder bluff valiant, and totem golem) and then shaman will be back to average.
Alright, you can leave. If its such a bad game, have fun playing something else. BTW it is a real esport, "competitivetournamentsofvideo games, especiallyamongprofessionalgamers." Not going out of my way to defend it, just love calling people out on mistakes. Any game with drawing different cards from a deck has a random aspect. Just as you wont see poker at the olympics, you wont see spelling bees, chopped, or the office. Kinda a waste of a sentence. Hearthstone is not based on a coin flip. It's based on looking at the meta, and building counter decks, or playing the meta decks. Oh and pokemon is significantly easier than hearthstone, Overwatch is based on the skill of your opponents relative to you and your team, and just because yogg is around doesn't make the whole game bad. All they need is a forbidden/banned list. Also, its only 2 years old, they need to make these mistakes, so that they can learn what to do. Thanks for giving me someone to prove wrong <3
Here's a nerf, make a forbidden/banned list from competitive play. All other competitive card games have it. Firebat just made a great video about it, but he didn't say banned list, which I think can take so rng out of the game and go back to the skilled decks... well playing the midrange druid vs. counters vs. their counters game. I only play wild now because all the formerly common cards(not in terms of rarity, we're talking belchers, and shredders,) have been replaced by yogg. I just think that wild rank is more skill than standard ranked, and that needs to be changed.
Found the Hearthstone "Pro" haha. There are a lot legend players, who also say the competetive scene in Hearthstone is a joke. Hearthstone isn't comparable to other E-Sports. It has way too much RNG and requires way too less skill.
Found the grammar "Pro" haha. "Way too less skill." Sorry, I hate passive aggressiveness. I think the random aspect can be beneficial sometimes, because it means that you need to build your deck to have more than 1 way to win. Take patron warrior, you can win with flooding, frothing berserkers, simple beatdown into grom+inner rage. Not everyone may agree with that though. Also, it's "competitive."
Just a thought for a possibly fun mechanic: Undead, "If this minion died and was re-summoned, transform into ______" I haven't really thought about possible undead transformations, but it could be put on 1-3 drops to give priest more of a mid-range style of play. Resurrecting a big legendary is the dream, but you're going to have had curators, shades, northshire clerics, etc. to lower your chances, but Undead could be a way to give priest early game minions that could be competitive later in the game too. Undead could even be a tribe tag, and when its revived, it gets +2/+2. Thoughts?
I've tried graphic design before, and I am no good at it, so I'm not putting a card on here, but what if there was a spell for shaman that could decrease the level of all minions on the field. There could also be a card that would make your minions increase their level's instead of decreasing. Just a thought that I wanted to see what others think of.

It's not perfect, but a second violet illusionist and fool's bane is an 8 mana decent board clear (sometimes.)

I believe you're asking if the immunity applies to armor, which it does.
