Battlecry only triggers after playing a card, so summoning will not trigger it. Still Ozze > coin > blessing of might will be interesting. Or other buff.
Yeah it's probably going to be a one-off but since it's an exact copy, the new one will copy itself as well at the end of the following turn. It will most likely not copy its buffs though.

It's a Battlecry effect though, so it only triggers on the summon, not the copy. Makes it less op than it looked on first glance, but still a great card for buff based decks.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?

Just to clarify, it only triggers on the play, not the summon.
You knew what you meant, I knew what you meant, but HS calls any minion entering the battlefield a "summon"
There's a big problem I can see with this card right away...
You have to spend mana on buffs immediately, without getting value, before it makes itself useful. It can be useful, don't get me wrong, but you have to basically: Summon, buff, then end. Yes, then you get two of them, but you spent the cards and you haven't attacked yet.
Unless your buff card gives health as well (priest potential), it's going to die easily still probably, meaning that you will potentially invest in a card that dies. That's why you typically don't buff cards the turn they are summoned, unless that buff serves an immediate purpose (+taunt, for example.)
I think Priest has some potential here. With some setup, you can get a pair of VERY powerful cards early. (T3: Ooze, coin, shield, inner fire = 2x 4/4 creatures. Shenanigans ensue.
I think it may end up being disappointing in terms of actual use for everyone else.
Sounds like Corruption applied to this one after someone has buffed it insanely would be a recipe for tears...
Actually, never mind that. The copy would already be in play by the time you could apply the spell.
Why? It copies at EoT, so Corruption is only going to kill one of them. Corruption won't be any better here than it is in any other circumstance, which is pretty terrible.
Battlecry: Summon an exact copy of this minion at the end of the turn
- If it is a Battlecry, Doesn't it mean that you going to obtain the copy next turn whatever you do? - What if you kill it, for example with Warsong Commander charge, is there going to be summoned one Ooze summoned end of then turn, since the Battlecry effect is there the moment you put the card on the field. - If it is a Battlecry and it summons an exact copy at the end of the turn and next turn you have 2 of them, i would assume that those two can'T summon more Oozes, since it is a Battlecry and those would not be played from your hand onto the field.
Also do you get infinite Ooze's? I figure not but the BC effect could copy over if it is activated and if it is activated then you copy the 1/2 with the ability to copy 1/2. I don't understand it's wording that much.
Which is what you said at the end, but that would be the explanation behind it.
Well is is certainly a battlecry effect, but the devs have said that it you were to buff the ooze it would copy the buffed up version at the end of the turn. So this makes me think that there is something keeping track of changes to the ooze throughout your turn. So I imagine, if the ooze dies somehow before your turn ends, you don't get a copy at all.
As for your third point, I think you're right, since battlecry only triggers if a minion is played, the second oozes bc doesn't come into effect. So you end up with two oozes not three after two turns.(assuming one or two of them haven't been removed already before the second turn).

Blizzard has just announced the Echoing Ooze!
Wonder if it copies itself with applied buffs intact?
And do the copies create copies of themselves? So 1 becomes 2, 2 become 4 and so on.
This dropped on turn 2, Coin, and Power Word: Shield would be nasty.
Nah. I think it's a one-off as it's a Battlecry.
Yes, it copies along with it's buffs. This will make for some interesting combos.

It's a shame the effect is not cumulative. Due to that wording on "End of turn" rather then "End of each turn" or "End of your turn" , etc.

The real question is will it copy itself with power overwhelming, or will it die first.

Ooze would make a copy, then both Oozes would die.

that sucks

It'd end up being a great card for a *sigh* Zoolock...

Mass Dispel plz, hahah :)
I find the text on this card very confusing.

Your opinion is very important, need insight :)

I Designed A Card This Week
-It's not "next turn", it's end of the turn that it's played.
-I would assume so. This is similar to the buff question. Does it copy Vanilla Ooze? Or current state of Ooze? (Buffed, Dead, etc.)
-No, copies won't trigger battlecry. Just like Alarm-o-Bot summons don't trigger battlecry, because they aren't "played"
