Play it, buff it, end turn. Since it copies the minion in play at the end of the turn it will need to stay on the board. Same rule for everything else with a battlecry that it only applies for the turn it gets played.
Question: how will this card work with aura buffs? such as stormwind champion.
so I play this while stormwind champion is out, so it becomes a 2/3, do I get a second echo that has base stats of 2/3 and thus it'll become a 3/4?
also this spawns a new question, what is the base stat of the echoed slime? say I have an echo that got blessing of kings, is the copy a 5/6 or is it a 1/2 with a +4/+4 buff on it? meaning if I silence the copy, does it stay a 5/6 or does it becomes a 1/2?

For the first question, it seems like that would be the correct philosophy, but we would have to actually test to see if that is how it would work. For the second, if silenced, the copied Ooze would be a 1/2. Just like how if Faceless copies a Questing Adventurer and gets silenced, it becomes a 2/2.
There's a big problem I can see with this card right away...
You have to spend mana on buffs immediately, without getting value, before it makes itself useful. It can be useful, don't get me wrong, but you have to basically: Summon, buff, then end. Yes, then you get two of them, but you spent the cards and you haven't attacked yet.
Unless your buff card gives health as well (priest potential), it's going to die easily still probably, meaning that you will potentially invest in a card that dies. That's why you typically don't buff cards the turn they are summoned, unless that buff serves an immediate purpose (+taunt, for example.)
I think Priest has some potential here. With some setup, you can get a pair of VERY powerful cards early. (T3: Ooze, coin, shield, inner fire = 2x 4/4 creatures. Shenanigans ensue.
I think it may end up being disappointing in terms of actual use for everyone else.
try T3: ooze, coin, mark of the wild, 2 x 3/4 taunt minions, 1 less card used, though a more useful effect I think
I think this is a bit of a trap card, 2 mana 1/2 is pretty easy to take care of without losing card advantage and the buff stuff seems fairly iff, the best I could see it in is Aggro Pally because it helps give you 100% Avenge targets and stuff. One of the worse Arena Epics anyway.

This card is not a level 2 card play, but probably a level 5/6 play with a huge benifit.
What do you play with it on those turns? T6 Blessing of Kings? (hmm) I suppose that does give you two 5/6s, though it requires a bit of comboing.
2nd: 2/3 Echoing Ooze (looses the +1/+1, but keeps the copy 2/3 buff)
this was my understanding of how it would work, but according to another person, when you copy, your not creating a new unit with base stats of what that existing unit has. instead your literally copying the exact same unit with all buffs.
this makes more sense because if you hover over a minion card and it has buffs on it, then you can see a break down of where all the buffs are coming from unless if the card has a perminate stat change such as crazy alchemist. so because of this, when the echoing ooze copies itself, it would make more sense that it'd only copy the base stat because it wouldnt make sense for it to have the stormwind champion buff twice on it.
if someone wants to test this out, just have a stormwind champion, and another minion and use faceless manipulator on the other minion to see what it becomes. it should work the same way.
While everyone is discussing how to efficiently use this card... Echoing Ooze + Duplicate > 2x Ooze + Duplicate > 2x More Ooze Echoing Ooze + Conceal > Brew Master x2 + Ooze x2 + Conceal > Vanish > 4x Ooze Yes, completely pointless, but would make for a funny swarm of ooze.
LOL, i see so much power on the priest combos with all the card's, it's insane.
First of all, this card say's Battlecry, so, it will work when you play this card from your hand even if you copy latter with faceless you cant get something like this:
The card has that battlecry, cant be silence but the buff's can be silence. So, this card can get buff by any other card and can make the same copy of that card.
Play it, buff it, end turn. Since it copies the minion in play at the end of the turn it will need to stay on the board. Same rule for everything else with a battlecry that it only applies for the turn it gets played.

If you buff Power Overwhelming, will the copy also die at the end of the turn? I'm kinda confused by this minion.
Yes, it dies. If you are confused just think of it as playing free faceless manipulator at the end of the turn you played him.
Echoing Ooze + 2 Blessing of the King is a better turn 10 dream, giving you two 9/10s
How about: Echoing Ooze + Mark of the Wild + Power of the Wild + Faceless Manipulator
Four 4/5s with Taunt.
Faceless Manipulator will love this one after buff :D
*Three 4/5s with Taunt.
That would only give you three 4/5s with Taunt since Faceless wouldn't have the Battlecry if I understand how Echoing Ooze works correctly.
faceless wont get anything from the battle cry since it doesnt get summoned.

Will most likely work best in Paladin, since that class has the best buff cards.

Echoing Ooze + Duplicate > 2x Ooze + Duplicate > 2x More Ooze
Echoing Ooze + Conceal > Brew Master x2 + Ooze x2 + Conceal > Vanish > 4x Ooze
Yes, completely pointless, but would make for a funny swarm of ooze.
Uhhh, that's 11 mana. Lol.
Sigh...
Except secrets like Avenge do not proc on your turn. You need the enemy player to proc them.
