people need to understand that we are leaving naxx and gvg behind us in standard, 2 sets with the biggest powercreep in hearthstone. if you expect the new cards to be on the powerlevel of naxx, gvg you will be dissapointed. i told you that secret paladin will still be the number 1 deck even after this expansion in wild but it doesnt seem you understand that. they dont need to powercreep another deck to beat secret paladin cause it wont exist in standard. so yeah these new cards seem weak compared to what you are used to in wild-current format.
if you are looking for a card to replace dr boom in wild you wont find it in this expansion im 10000% sure..... so if you comment on cards better comment about them having in mind standard and not wild. cause if you get wild cards to compare to these new ones we could say everything is bad.
I think people don't see his true power. This new Hogger is a powerhouse in aggro/zoo decks. It's a "better" Savana High mane for everyone. No control deck will be happy to use an AoE dmg spell to whipe your board when this is on the battle field because not noly it doesn't deal with Hogger but it keeps him in ahead on the board.
Not to say that if you want to trade with Hogger you better deal him with one of the few cards that deal with him directly because if you can't it will keep spawning taunters that will prevent you to finish him or that will end killing you. (In a zoo deck he is not going to trade, he is going to punch you for 6 in the face).
Seriously, if a zoo-lock puts this on the board while he has a few minions you have a big problem. And even if he doesn't have a board you better have one of the few cards that deal efficiently with him. I think Hogger could be the final boss of Zoo-lock, Eboladin, Hunter-midrange or any deck alike.
Did any of you ever wondered what would happen if a better Savana Highmane could be played in any deck? Well, you are about to find out.
Zoo is going to be pretty pants unless they release a bunch of OP low drops. Without Nerubian Egg, Creeper and Implosion, Zoo lose so much power. Not to mention a probable nerf on Knife Juggler.
I wanna say it's good. It's not like there's ANOTHER 7 mana 6/6 that people misevaluated in a past set.
people didnt misevaluated troggzor. i opened troggzor on the first gvg days and he was fucking broken. he was winning games on his own. then everyone started playing dr boom and suddenly troggzor seemed like a bad play since dr boom kills troggzor and survives. a card can have potential but you can also see the counterpart of the same cost. dr boom overshadowed an amazing card like troggzor so yeah..... if they let us have troggzor in standard i bet he would be an auto include as much as dr boom is today
I am enjoying how people are calling this garbage yet we play Imp Gang Boss in every warlock match. Test it out before we call it complete trash. Hogger sucked because he died to AoE as a 4/4; his body sucked.
I think the important thing to realize is there is a place for this card in a deck somewhere. This is especially true when you consider how many cards are rotating out. Additionally, this is a card that could be played in just about any deck. So, if people discover this card is good, then people are going to use the heck out of it.
Also, a good 7 drop that spawns dudes? Never seen that before *cough* dr.boom *cough*
With this card being just under BGH range and taking atleast 1 or 2 hits to remove, i think it will see quite a bit of play and a decent replacement for Dr. Boom. In my opinion, this is a more balanced Dr. Boom.

Also think about how strong this is in arena!
Wait, you're comparing a 3 mana minion that works wonders against aggro decks in the early game against a 7 (!!!!!!!) mana minion with a similar effect?
This card might be very good, yes, but seriously - don't draw such conclusions by comparing an effect that's great in early game to this one that's only relevant in late game. This card can be good for entirely different reasons.

Think about if Hearthstone didn't have crafting. No netdecking, no Dr. 7s, no shredders, no netdecking...

Control hunter: this + Dreadscale
Opponent needs to kill the taunt, dreadscale AND the 6/5 without damaging it. Not easy to do.
I don't understand, where have you seen this card? Isn't there any source?
The card seems pretty good to me btw, assuming that the new meta will be weaker/slower
Trash expansion.
"The light shall burn you!" - heals face.

Kinda mixed feelz on this card.
--If the card had been 6 mana, it'd be solid.
--@7 mana it would have been better with Hogger's original effect (the guaranteed taunt every turn).
P.S. I have a feeling that original Hogger's mana price (6) sort of put this version in a weird spot.
Continuing the trend of Blizz not knowing what to do with Legendary 7 drops (that aren't Boom).
P.P.S. Boulderfist Ogre laughs at this guy.
Of course there's still going to be Patron Warrior. Everyone said it was dead with the Warsong nerf, but it just adapted. It'll do the same now.

Beckoner of Evil#gold
"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
We have like 127 more cards to go and people are going crazy. Same thing happened with the TGT lol
Not that bad. But honestly quite boriiing.
