Did you test out Zihi yet? What is your experience so far? And any thoughts an Zihi in an Even Shaman?
After I tried to build a non even Jade Shaman I stopped my efforts at the moment, because all ideas felt too slow for my taste of prefered playstyle. So I came back to build around on a more midrangy Even Shaman with the goal to build a strong deck, which is less about floating the board and quick burst damage but more about a steady flow of relevant threats for the enemy. All my builds so far run out of gas at some point too often against some defensive decks, even when I put in Lich King + Rag. Because of that I now had the idea to put in maybe 1-2x Ancestral Knowledge, but the overload should make it difficult to use some real big cards like Lich King or Rag in too many of the following turnes. So I want to try to cap the curve around 6 Mana (without counting possible Sea Giants, which you want to play for way less mana) and so I got the idea, if Zihi could be viable in such a deck.
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.

What do you think?
This is about Wild, right? Zihi is not really seen there, as Loatheb is a stronger combo disruptor. The 6-slot for even shaman is very crowded, with Aya Blackpaw and Fire Elemental fighting for spots and they can also be subbed for an extra 8-drop. Unless you are facing a lot of mana-hungry combo decks, I can't see Zihi being a good fit in the format.
Standard is another matter completely. Tempo and midrange decks are much weaker there, so Zihi is an effective counter to the more common otk decks.
Edit: If you run out of gas, you could probably have played the match out better. Vs ultra defensive decks as even shamen, you are not really playing your deck, you are playing around theirs. If you always nail how how much you commit to the board to make their aoe and removal as ineffective as possible, your winrate should go up significantly.
For it to be relevant you should play it around T9-10 trying to take advantage of an eventual tempo gain over a combo or control deck. Doesn't seem to be enough for me since they have control tools/board clears/single target removals for your threats at 6-7 mana anyways... I'd stick with good old shaman/neutral 6 drops instead of Zihi.
I have tried it this season in even shaman, feels like a dead card much of the time. I've actually found I've beaten druids without it, and it hasn't really paid dividends against priest. Haven't seen any combo pallies or warlocks, aside from cube, which it didn't help against. I've played some control and odd mages but didn't draw it in time to stall their DK. It worked better in my control shaman, but that didn't work as a deck.
Im a big fan of zihi. Won me so many matches. Not just against otk, but drop her not to let frost lich jaina for example is very nice. Sorry i dont play even shaman, but i think u can add if u Hard to finish slower opponents and u can disrupt some big things.
I also play Zihi in wild and it´s great. It seals a lot of matches. I prohibits the big i win cards like Guldan and N'zoth. It stalls out Anifin. It basically delays all OTK decks and usually wins the match by doing so. Shure against aggro it´s weak but at least a 5/5. I killed a good number of warlocks using it.
@SlydE: Yes, it is about Wild. And yes Loatheb is the better combo disruptor - but sadly he is not very viable in Even Shaman. ;)
And because of that I was thinking about Zihi as an alternative in Even Shaman. And sometimes Zihi is even better than Loatheb, because Zihi prevents cards like Voidlord from hand, but not Loatheb.

%99 of the time it doesn't work, it is just for gimmicky decks, nothing more nothing less..
