If so, why? I can never see myself doing it. Even if I drafted the worst deck imaginable I'll still hold on to the hope that others also drafted poorly and I'll get 1-2 wins.
I came close a few times but couldn't bring myself to it. Out of 160 arenas I've never had 0 wins, so that means that by retiring I would be throwing away free gold.

I'm so glad there is prejudice against playing hunter/zoo/[insert FotM deck here]. People like that make the life so much easier for those of us who play to win.
I wouldn't ever. Even if I have awful drafts (which I had plenty of - but then again, so did my opponents) or got really, really fed up, I'd rather just quit the game, take a break from arena, maybe even weeks, and come back when I feel like I could enjoy it, or at least could pull through even with a sub-par drafted deck.
Because in the end it is about making the best out of whatever you are given. Constantly retiring your drafts until you get a godly one would feel like cheating in a way, wouldn't it?
Never. It would be a bad investment then. But I did have 2 or 3 horrible decks that I just didn't want to play. Still, even those kind of decks can produce a win or two.

"I am Richard, Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, Master of the Bones, Emperor of the Black, Lord of the Undead, and The Mayor of a little village up the coast."
I retired once, i had made really stupid decisions on my deck for a class I didn't want to play, so I said screw it and re rolled. After retiring I thought to myself that it was a stupid decision. What I should have done instead was started the next two matches and conceded immediately, rather than retire. At leas that way some other human would get the win credit instead of the system just wiping it.
So the next time I did another stupid draw I did remember to give some free concedes instead of retiring.
At the end of the day, my playing time is limited, so I don't want to play a match that is highly likely to be a frustrating painful slow loss. I'd rather cut my losses and quit and reroll or play ranked.
I've been tempted a few times to retire at 3 wins, but I haven't yet. I'm after dust now to finish off some epics and legendaries and the 55 dust award usually comes out to more dust then the gold that 4 wins would get me...
I've had really bad luck in my last 15 packs only getting the minimum 40 dust 90% of the time.
I have retired a few times. The decks were terrible and I just didn't feel like playing them because it wasn't my fault they were terrible. I probably wouldn't be retiring if I didn't have 4k gold, but I can usually make up what I lost and more.

If you have thousands to spend on this game then you could start arena and retire just for the sake of wasting more money but no, never retired, and if i feel like i want to, ill get out of arena and spend gold on packs.
Haven't retired one. Thought about it once, but played through. Played against someone who conceded as soon as the cards came out. Guess he decided to give me a free win rather than retire the deck. That would be nice. Help someone else out if you don't wanna play it.

did it 3 or 4 times. classical aggro reaction... more than one time even if i had some wins...
Yes, because opening a pack sounded way more enjoyable than playing another game.

I've been tempted but could never do it. Just have to make the best out of your hopeless draft.

Nope. I've never built a deck that I thought I couldn't get 3 or more wins with it. Even though I've had 0 win decks.

Never done it right after a draft, but I've been 0-2 with horrible draws and retired because a pack and dust sounded better than another game.
Yes. Got bored of waiting for this guy to constantly wait for the timer to auto quit his turn for him.
I usually quit due to the people on the other end of the internet, not because of the game. Granted its unbalanced right now, but the game is a game.

^Ultimate good guy Greg.

I had a couple of 0-2 arenas where i knew the deck was shit to beging with so i put it out of its misery by retiring it.
I would never retire a deck no matter how bad it is, i would rather go 0-3 than give up.

I've reached the point where if I'm not having fun with a drafted deck, I'll just retire it. I don't care how much gold I have, time is worth more.

Mage deck atm, any suggestions/criticism are welcome. :)

I was pretty close when I played 2 straight matches where my opponents had legendaries...
