If it were rng everybody would have about a fifty percent winrate.
In the long run that's probably true, but no one is going to play 1000+ games in order to achieve "the long run." Over the 20 or so games I will play, it's most definitely possible to have less than 50% wr due to RNG.
With the previous brawl, I *easily* had 60%+ wr, consistently, and over a span of 75 or so games.

This is much closer to arena.
know how much reach you have, what your outs are, which class is best against your opponent's and when to play around what.
Even a coin can land on it's side. An no, this is nothing like arena where you actually plan out a curve and choose reasonable cards (e.g. plenty of 2-4 mana drops) whereas in this mode you can mulligan an entire hand of 5+ mana cards and get a handful of them back and instantly lose.
Just played against warlock with constructed zoo opening, possesed villager into dark peddler into void walker into another villager then forbidden ritual, that's enough brawling for today oO
When I did it Wednesday for the pack, I didn't really like it. Got the 5 Tavern Brawl wins quest today, and after playing it some more I really started to enjoy it. The sick combo's you see are so much fun. Faced a Paladin/Rogue: T2 Shielded Minibot into T3 Iron Sensei is pretty scary!
I hope they bring this brawl back as a constructed format one week, so you don't have to depend on RNG to make some ridiculous combo's.
This is an awesome brawl for me but there will always be the whiners who don't like it because they think it's only about luck but that's not entirely true. You can be skilled in several ways. For example, if you're a structured player who likes patterns you are good with carefully planned decks. If you're the improviser like I am, you are better with random against random, because the opponent can't make their sick combos against you(unless they are really lucky). That's what I love so much about this brawl. Here everyone plays on the same terms and you only need a little luck to win, but getting lucky with draws is only a part of the game. There is still work to be done after that.
If this brawl was 15 constructed cards then 15 random class cards it would be 1000000% better since then you could abuse broken combos and it would be ok since everyything would be broken

Broken combos is exactly what SHOULDN'T be in tavern brawls. I play it just to avoid those.
If you just want to complain stop playing hearthstone.
Hur dur, or I can just say this brawl is garbage due to the fact that luck is a much larger factor than skill for this particular brawl and keep playing Hearthstone.
That was fun while it lasted. It's as fast as randomonium sometimes, and sometimes you end with attrition control battle. I'm very happy that I had enough time playing the brawl this weekend...
So, I may have gone a little crazy with this brawl. I was able to win a match with each starting class and every secondary class (Warrior with all 8 other possible classes, then Mage with each other, etc) for a total of 72 wins. However, due to RNG not always offering a secondary class I needed, repeats were inevitable. Attached is a screenshot of my total number of wins (90). I'm just curious if there were any other OCD folks out there who completed this self-imposed task as well.
I remain,

Join me at Out of Cards!
It is definitely very random. Last game my opponent had 2 copies of the same legendary minion...

Started Warlock.
Drew Renounce Darkness
Giggled maniacally.
Won by ridiculous amount

Sounds great at first, but with that much RNG and possible cards in the deck, there is almost no chance for any synergy.
Didn't have any fun playing that.
Winrate: 1 out of 5
6 wins in a row with rogue, atleast rogues hero power can replace a 2 drop if you miss it unlike any other class which is great.
Worst fucking brawl ever. Whats wrong with blizzard guys... i simply hate RNG...

Occasionally see some fun combos but draw luck decides 75% of games and you know it by turn 4, which kills the fun and it's too bad.

Hearthstone inherently has luck involved.
It also inherently has skill involved.

There is a lot of steak here...
