Literaly No ONE was complaining about because the say 0 mana cards are not fun for the game.
You either failed to make the necessary distinction between '0 mana cards' and 'cards discounted to 0 mana' which is essential for this discussion or you purposefully ignore the difference to make the argument fit your narrative because people are and have always been complaining over cards that get (heavily) discounted especially if they get discounted to zero.
I also don't understand what exactly your argument is? The only Libram that you can realistically discount to zero also happens to be the least problematic one.
To answer your question: Yes Paladin can have these specific mana cheat mechanics because they are a) not that powerful to begin with and b) the class doesn't support them particularly well because of certain design ideas that blizzard has for it (lack of card draw, lack of removal to, just to name some examples).
If Libram Paladin or any Paladin with a Libram package ends up being broken they can still nerf it but dismissing/preemptively nerfing the package as a whole just because of other barely similar mechanics being a problem is very short-sighted and a terrible approach to game balancing.
A small side note: Whataboutism is never a good basis for an argument.
It's only game breaking when any card can be zero mana. For paladin, only certain hand picked cards can be zero mana which is what the devs want. They want to control what is zero mana.
I'm actually shocked they didn't nerf Heistbaron Togwaggle treasure that draws three for zero mana.
People are salty because one time playing there game they got destroyed by 0 cards from rogue or the fun box didn’t screw over them and actually helped them or reno didn’t do any bad . Rogue was never a problem if people would learn to play or hold cards maybe you would win vs us we have no healing but let’s nerf rogue to the ground i mean you killed 2 archetype for rogue.stealth got nerfed the galox Alex
They nerfed Gala Rogue that Literaly No ONE was complaining about because the say 0 mana cards are not fun for the game.
The nerf DQA to punish HL hunter ==> YA RIGHT!!! Hunter is not gona even feel this change , instead it HURTS HL Mage alot and I'm sorry if you got rekt by some random box or DQA but ASK Mage players how many times they were fked by RENO / Box .. this deck is supposed to be kinda random thats what's fun about it. It doesn't havea high win ratio but when it wins it feels good and you had fun doing some random shit so why not? Anyway fine we will see how it actually all plays out this week.
But now getting to my point!
They buffed Libram Paladin before because it was unplayable I agree fine lets give it a spot in the Meta..
BUT NOW with all the talk about 0 mana cost cards and how they ruin the gameplay, Paladin is the only class that has 0 mana cost Librams and with Lady Liadrin and Libram of Hope this deck is gona be insane ...
So what about that why does palading deserve to have 0 mana cards? Just because he isn't tier 1 ?
Decent point...I have actually encountered a lot more Libram Paly's since the nerf. And I mean a lot.
Only reason why Rogue had that cost discount is that Rogue play low cost cards. They have no crazy high cost cards in deck as someone here mentioned Alexstrasza. Often you draw Backstab or Preparation, best discount is Kronx Dragonhoof (6 mana) or before Malygos, but this archetype is unplayable now. Haven’t seen any competive Rogue deck which play more then 5 cards with manacost higher then 5 (2x Shields, Kronx, Galakrond, Toggwagle).

Libram creates an unstoppable OTK in wild where you can summon all 4 horsemen in one turn.
Fun > Meta
How many different unstoppable OTKs are there in Wild atm? Lost interest in the format a few years ago.

This idiot is actually complaining about 0 mana 1/1s for one of the worst performing classes.
This IDIOT doesn't know paladins W/R went to 65% plus after the libram buffs and nerf to DH and Rogue.
GJ Idiot LOOK some stats before you post...
... Unstoppable?
You have at the very minimum ten turns to stop it
Daft.

I hear typing some words in caps really helps to drive your point.
