posted a message on Renogos - Counter everything! Including yourself!

    Doesn't seem good at all.

Secret package is clunky and Cloud Prince is only reliable as a turn 8 play with the secret the same turn or if you happen to Arcane Mysteries. Mana cyclone makes no sense in a highlander deck, especially since your hand is going to be full so often and you're only running a single copy of apprentice so odds for that combo to go off are pretty slim. Missing key control cards like Blizzard and Rolling Fireball. And you're running Primordial Studies with literally only 1 spell that can benefit from spell damage....I guess 2 if you count Violet Spellwing.

Case of mixed identity between tempo/secret/highlander and you're falling short on all 3.

I don't know why they keep printing manacheating stuff, it has been problematic in the past and it will still be problematic in the future, it just feels awful to play against.

....because it enables people who can't play the game to beat players they would normally have no chance against, and Timmy needs to win some games to have fun or he won't buy ay packs....see previous decks such as Big Priest and Jade Druid  (yes, spawning 12/12, 13/13, and a 14/14 for 3 mana was mana cheating in my book). A true mana cheating deck takes what little skill there is/was in hearthstone and throws it to the dogs.

This is sadly very true. I would bet dollars to donuts the devs are fully versed in this concept and actively design the game with it mind, although nobody would ever admit such a thing for fear of instant backlash.

But back to your point, that is also why heavy RNG exists in the game. See cards like Puzzle Box and Amazing Reno. Half of the Highlander Mage players who are legend would still be stuck in Diamond if they were forced to play any other deck.

If you approached someone and started telling them they should kill themselves there can be consequences for that, the online space should be no different. [snip]

If a girl can get sentenced to 15 months in jail for telling her boyfriend to kill himself through text messages, there should be an equal consequence for people who do the same thing online. (So long as there's a sufficient paper trail, natch. Criminal trials hang on "beyond a reasonable doubt", after all.)

Good thing you're not a lawyer, because with how casually you draw "if, then" comparisons half of this country would probably be charged with a death penalty from you before the new patch gets released.

Get over it? Nobody really cares. We all experience internet flamers. Nothing special about your particular guy. All you are doing is validating his time by not forgetting it and moving on with your life.

I think I meant as a separate point that you need to cut KT in either situation. Your deck needs to realistically spend at least 3 mana to trigger KT most of the time. If you pull it with muckmorpher on curve you have no way to trigger it and you've just played a 5 mana 4/4 that dies next turn. And then on top of that KT is pretty much only good with Eye of the Storm. I mean sure it's cool if you get a free tidal wave....but why? You've cleared your own board too. That would be no different as if you just cast the tidal wave from the start.

Your ideal play with any muckmorpher deck is on curve or even now turn 3 muck with lightning bloom. KT is a net negative impact on this deck.

This idiot is actually complaining about 0 mana 1/1s for one of the worst performing classes.

This IDIOT doesn't know paladins W/R went to 65% plus after the libram buffs and nerf to DH and Rogue.

GJ Idiot LOOK some stats before you post...

I hear typing some words in caps really helps to drive your point.

Also no idea how you're only running 1 Umberwing. Isn't that like one of Aggro DH's best cards? And I highly doubt Magehunter is better than the earth shock card. And I don't see how Glide will ever be useful while you are running so many draw cards alongside it. Just overall looks like a horrible list tbh. Rework....

When I see this deck on the "latest deck comments" section, your name appears directly below it so I always initially see "Even Handjob Paladin" and I have to do a double take every time. Not sure if secret genius or purely coincidence.....

posted a message on Aggro/Burn Spell Damage Shaman

Fair point but a few things to consider:

-Dragon decks or dragon packages have historically been successful with a 7 card "critical mass."

-There is some self-synergy in the deck that results in more than the 7 hard spell damage cards. For example Diligent notetaker can copy a Primordial Studies; Instructor Fireheart, Wandmaker, and Lackeys will occasionally generate the same; Lady Vashj will come back as another in Prime Form; and Rune Dagger is essentially 3 turns of consistent spell damage per dagger.

-The only 2 cards that truly require Spell Damage are Watcher and Substitute. So even just a hard count comparison you are still at a 4:7 ratio and will be able to consistently proc them. But as we discussed really it will be even more likely than that.

Of course the only way to know for sure is to test on release day, but at first glance I feel like you should have a pretty straightforward time keeping enough spell damage available for proccing Watcher, Substitute, and buffed plays of Molten Blast and Ras.
