Funny. I agreed with the OP point #1 100%.... and then nothing else. The deck ISN'T OP yet, so until it is, it's pointless to even talk about how it will be nerfed.
It has its counters right now. And it morphing into a control deck, which I agree will be a better refined deck, may not happen until the next expansion as I'm not sure the tools are there for a true control + bomb deck.
Give it 3 more weeks then start writing epic stories about how it should be nerfed.
I didn't say "NERF IT NOW, KICK IT WHILE IT'S DOWN"
I'm merely trying to predict what'S going to happen and give my own opinions on how to fix it. Of course they won't announce nerfs right away, but this could, at the very least, give people an idea of which cards to keep around in case of a nerf.
The strengths and weaknesses of the deck aren't going to change between now and a month, so the earlier we assess them the easier it is to agree on the best solution later (which is up to Blizzard anyways, but it can't hurt to give suggestions)
I can't believe what I'm reading, it's been two days, warrior got a new archetype which is unrefined and can be countered in multiple ways. Where were these posts the last two years while warrior was irrelevant as a class. Do you even play warrior ? It doesn't need and certainly doesn't deserve any nerfs. And brawl is as much a dead card as it is useful, it is very situational. Suck it up

clearly you didn't read in the first place as you didn't address any of the points.
No, it can't be countered because the strong points of the deck aren't the actual bombs, and you can't play Archivist before Blastmaster and even if you could, replacing your deck with 10 garbage cards just to not have to face Dr. 7 is stupid...not to mention you'll lose to mad genius anyways.
Also, I literally don't give a shit whether Warrior was trassh tier for an entire year. When it becomes a problem it has to be addressed and it's on its way to become just that.
Also, if Baku didn't rotate I would have made this post anyways, because Brawl and Shieldslam in Odd Warrior are busted as well (in Standard)
if you can't contribute beyond "no u" then maybe you should have reconsidered
To be honest, I havent tested it because I dont have Prince Liam but the text reads all 1-cost cards, so I assume that whatever the Bombs are, it could work as a I counter. I do agree that its not a guaranteed counter, due to multiple factors, drawing it or being able to drop it exactly when needed, but its worth the try for people who have Liam in their collection. :)
well um warrior hasn't been remotely tier 1 in several years. Essentially since war axe nerf the class hasnt been the same.
Theyve always had good single target removal and okay board clears. If you want to nerf new cards within 2 days thats silly.
Theres nothing wrong with warrior.
Odd Warrior would ahve been tier one if it wasn't for other infinite value death knights. It also has been doing fine without FWA (despite being able to run it)
I also argued about nerfing 2 past cards, so I'm not entirely sure you bothered to read beyond the first few paragraphs.
You have also not really demonstrated which of my points are unreasonalble and instead opted for a "warrior dindu nuffin".
Hahaha now that those stupid infinite-value death knights have gone to wild it is finally control-warriors time to shine! F%@# that bomb shit, I will just remove all your shit forever while producing more and more mechs, muhahaha.
Ok on a more serious note, I actually do think that pure control/fatigue style warrior is even better than the bomb version, mainly because it counters said version. About Dr. 7 mg, yeah it is one of only three hero cards and the only one that technically can produce infinite value, but the ring-factor makes it seem pretty balanced to me. A lot of times you just don't get the hero power you need.
I do not believe, that it is the time to think about nerfs yet (it has been two days!), usually there is a way of countering control, I am sure some form of combo-deck will arise.
Yeah, no. If they nerf Control Warrior to oblivion, they'll destroy the last "real" Control deck to ever exist. Don't.
Did I say anywhere that I want the class to die? Did any of my propsed nerfs "ruin" the class?
Maybe a nerf to Brawl would make them much weaker, but what does that say about the class in the first place if their entire archetype relied on a single broken boardclear to function?
Maybe you should reconsider about making dumb logic salty posts because you are loosing to warrior for the first time in two years. There is nothing wrong with warrior or brawl or it's core class identity. What you want is they turn it into generic boring class and throw it back into t5. Warrior has always been the control deck in the game. You're pissed it got some good cards to make it a real deck again and it might see relevant play again, that's what your essay is about
'OP' is probably the most over used term in gaming. Anything good is 'op', anything a bit better than anything else is 'op', the meaning of the phrase has become so diluted. Everything is 'op'.
The simple fact is that no matter what you do, no matter what class or card you nerf something will take its place as 'more powerful' than anything else. The win rates tend to be close enough that nothing is far and away the best thing. An op deck would have a win rate of 80+% for example (from a large amount of games, not a small number).
A deck having a win rate of 1 or 2% higher than it's peers isn't over powered. It's just the strongest deck. Unless the game pretty much managed to have everything at dead on 50%, there will always be a few classes that are at the top.
Nerf brawl, nerf boom, nerf warrior in to the ground but all it means is something different rises and inevitably gets called for nerfs. Go look on almost any pvp involved game forum and you will easily find nerf threads. Everything always needs nerfing and it's endless because something replaces it, is a bit stronger than anything else and so that needs nerfing as well. Rinse and repeat. Round and round we go. You'll never not have nerf threads because people can't understand that not everything can or will be absolutely equal.
I've found the bombs being shuffled into my deck the main issue, I can't influence how I draw them, they can shuffle in an absurd amount with Augmented Elekk, you can draw multiple in one turn and they have a strong midrange setup so they can keep the pressure on you until the bombs kill you. Granted I haven't run into the deck too much, but when I have and lost to it, it's due to the looming presence and pressure of the bombs in my deck. If I draw too much, that's likely it.
We are still incredibly early in the meta. I'm not overly concerned with warrior yet. Indeed, I'm not sure Bomb Warrior will even end up being the best Warrior type, especially if things start to get more Death Rattle-y...which I think they should consider.
I do think that Mad Genius is going to be a real issue though. He's clearly the best hero card left. I am getting a real reverse-DK Rexxar feel from him. Where he wins games that are otherwise lost because suddenly, he makes all the favorable trades and is the aggressor.

You can influence them though - you can add cards to your deck, you can change the cards in your deck, you can heal, you can draw less. That's a lot that you can do.

Until then: Victory or Death!
as I said, the RNG factor is waht bothers me about Boom, because it just feels bad on either side when RNGesus fucks you sideways. A fixed HP cycle would make things more interesting, just on strategy level

I actually lost a lot of games against Odd Warrior as DK Rexxar just because I couldn't get on the board since Dyn-o-matics, Bulldozers and whatnot kept rushing into my stuff and doing chiip damage...and then fatigue comes in. Not a good way to go and I don't see Elysiana making a difference

so let's not nerf anything then? People have written endless threads abobut how quickly the meta gets stale and how boring it is if one deck stands out above the others.
I agree that nerfs will never get us into a perfect matter, but any change is better than the same shit for 4 months
Also, OP means over powered which means "above the power level of everything else" so it's not unreasonable to use it in the context of balance

Do or do not. There is no try.
Bombs are 5 cost cards, Liam wouldn't work.
