Hello everyone! I was experimenting today with a Blackhowl Gunspire combo in an odd dragon warrior deck. The idea was just to test the consistency of the combo. So far, i think it's too slow and clunky. I posted the deck here on the site and wanted some opinions. I explained everything in the deck page.
I like those creative decks. From a first glance i think you need only three cards and not the dragon pack. The key card is the loose Specimen so i would run a more classic odd warrior with gunspire + 2 Loose Specimen. The good thing is that you can play them as a strong 5 mana body too which fits the deck and in case of Oonstada it would be droped for free if you like. Of couse i would run double recless flurry.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't think about using Oondasta or any beast package because they would get in the way of the discounts for Loose Specimen. But maybe you are right. With that approach the deck won't be so passive and we could get some serious pressure on the board. The main problem i see is that we need to play all of our beasts before we can ensure we get the discounts on the correct card and since Oondasta pulls beasts from your hand, it could become a little troublesome. But this may be the correct way of doing things. Instead of being so obsessive about this combo, i should only do it when the situation fits and instead go for a more board focused strategy for winning. Currently i don't have Oondasta or a second copy of Loose Specimen but i was already considering crafting Oondasta for some other decks i have in my mind. Maybe this is the push i needed for crafting him!
