Trying my best to rank up, but I'm constantly staying around rank 13 and 12. Been trying out a lot of different decks as well, but it doesn't seem to work. I guess I'm taking a break for now. If someone were to coach me it would benefit me a hell' lot.
Was at a hump at ranks 8-7 then played pirate warrior up to 5 and then Midrange Shaman up to 4. I noticed in Pirate warrior that its super fast, most games decided before t10. As for shaman, bloodlust is definitely an include, it's just too good to cheese out wins with your 'useless' totems
I actually don't know what to play. I have played almost every single deck out there. Yeah, Shaman took me easily to rank 9 ( the first or second day or so) but shaman is really boring to play, so is dragon warrior. I have played alot of Rogue this season ( even Mill Rogue lol), but it's just not good enough. I want something good and fun to play... Do you guys have any advice?

I'm playing Malygos Rogue this season and it was good enough to level up to Rank 5 with 76% wr yet. So it's a choice, at least for low ranks.

Can you send me that Malygos Rogue list? :)
I'm using exact list Pavel used in Last Call, just for test, and it works very well for me. But usually it's bad idea to use tournament deck for ladder. Sometimes I want to add Sap in it or something else. But until it works I don't really care.
Actually you can find a lot of good Malyrogues list on this site, much more optimised for laddering.

Thanks. I played Malyrogue to rank 5 last season, maybe I should stick with it this season as well :)

So I never really liked playing the hated cancer decks, this season been trying out miracle rogue, reno mage, token druid, beast druid, freeze mage and some were better some were worse, but i couldnt climb easily. I switched to midrange cancer shaman and what happened? I climbed from rank 10 to rank 4 and 4 stars without a single loss... guess I'll go for legend this season then.
Done. Hit legend a couple days ago (Oct 19). My favorite deck which is Worgen OTK got killed off by the recent nerf, so I tried midrange Shaman to really see for myself how strong the deck is. I used different decks from rank 17 to 4, especially to complete class quests, then started to use Midrange Shaman exclusively from rank 4 to legend. I would say that the deck is ridiculously strong as I got 80% win rate from rank 4 to legend, but not entirely brainless in the mirror match. Against other decks like Malygos Druid and Miracle Rogue, it could feel stupid due to how easily you can win (had 100% winrate, facing 6 druids and 2 rogues). I went 28-7 in total, facing 14 mirror matches which I had 85% win rate (12-2). As expected, hardest match ups were freeze Mage at 33% win rate (1-2), smorc secret Hunter at 50% (2-2: they always kill me when I am about to stabilize due to their fast damage output), and control Warrior at 66% (2-1: one of them played bad and i think i would have lost if not for his misplays). Sorry can't post screenshots for now coz I'm at work. Maybe later.
Hit Legend today with an 18-3 run with C'thun warrior. 6-0 (100% win rate) against mid range shaman. Tech cards - 1 revenge and 1 baron geddon. Two losses were due to unlucky draws so i only contribute one defeat to an opponent who used Hunter.
Entered Legend Ranked at 381 so pretty good win rate and MMR throughout. Logged in a little under 200 games for Legend this season so pretty good, not that much of a grind.

With all due honesty, these are the three decks I put my most intense efforts into and these are the decks that are beating games effortlessly for me. I got up to rank 15 with my Zoolock; the other decks at around 17-16. I focus on making decks as cheap as possible while still trying to get higher up in the ladder, and these are the best ones I've made so far.

i thought the same when ive got from rank 5 to rank 2 with maly druid with 1-2 loses, the next day i back to my rank 5, but good luck to you hope that u can do it
I have tried out almost all of the common decks at the moment and tracked their win rates. Most classes had like 55-60%. In my opinion the best deck to climb to Legend this season is Midrange Shaman with a constant win rate of 70%. I also posted the deck I used.
cancer..., still cancer... can't sub the cancer... :P
This season was the first one that I decided to try and reach legend ranks. During the past few months I've begun to hit rank 5 with relative ease, by playing my normal style of playing all classes and hardly ever playing more then 10 games with one deck. So I thought I might have what it takes, if I take an top tier deck and really learn the match ups with it. But this stuff just isn't for me: I just can't stomach playing the same deck game after game. With a good win rate it's still tolerable, but once it drops to around 60% and below I just can't cope with it. I got to rank 4 around when the nerfs hit, but fell back to rank 6. Then I swapped to mid range shaman. It's taken me a couple times to rank 2, but there my win rate falters to around 50%. (In total it's still 65%, but at rank 2-3 it's just 56%) The losses make me frustrated and I end trying other decks, which then drop me back to rank 3.
Seems like I still have things to learn and that concentrating on one deck isn't enough for me to reach legend. We'll I know I have several things to work on. I play too fast and don't like thinking out my turns and the opponents possible reactions enough. Also keeping calm and not minding the losses/infuriating RNG is a point I have a lot to improve on. Staying focused when tired or after several games is also tricky. Grinding 10 plus games in one session/a day makes me sloppy , which leads to losses and me getting salty after which I play even worse.
At the moment I'm seriously considering giving up and bringing priest to the ladder to do a daily, which would probably tank my rank hard. This is the first month ever that I've used casual to do dailies, so that I don't risk my rank with a deck/class I'm not confident with. That's so cowardly, that I feel really ashamed for myself.
I think I'll give a try to iamdannywu's Cthun warrior. I've liked crushing shaman with a anti shaman control list, but unfortunately I do too bad against other decks with it. Maybe with this I'll do a little better. Not expecting anything even close to his win rate, but maybe a slightly positive one. (Missing one crazed worshipper, though, but I'll figure out some replacement.)
You can try beckoner of evil as another c'thun activator. Not as good as it doesn't provide a big taunt but you def need another c'thun activator. My deck takes a little practice against Shamans as people don't know when to use their board clears efficiently. I posted 6 replays against Shamans on my deck page.

Doing extremely good with a burn oriented tempo mage.
