Like always kill the huge rat last so it hits you for 7 dmg alone, your key minions getting insta sniped. Have 2 rats+hyena for solid midgame? Guess where the first 2 dmg goes, bitch. Or: get Deathwing, two early rat packs, EZ game right? Well not if literally everyone has their rat as well, snipes my rightmost rat instantly every.single.combat while my board is still kinda full, and in the end of course their rat dies last and hits me for 7. Imagine going 7th with 2 rats as DW, there's my luck. 9k mmr btw.
Also, early game aka 'until tier4 turn' is RNG in its purest form. Got a hero with no early game advantages? Oh that's too bad, you start with 20hp. Got shitty minions while everyone is rocking Spawns of Nzoth/early Cobalts? Shame. L2P. Got okay early game comp but lose every possible 50/50? Yep, there goes your 15hp. And then you get a game where you get everything and stomp everyone, lel so ez.
Could the experience just be a tad less polarizing? Jeez. The best strat is just to highroll the hero into highroll the earlygame rng into highroll cobalts/jugglers into highroll triples into highroll the minion from triple into highroll the lategame and of course highroll the attack rng on both sides. Last 7 games I’ve been offered some combination of Sylvanis, bartendotron, pyramad, or patchwork. There are too many hero options, it’s an awful feeling where you get all the garbage offers.
I just lost a final battle because opponents golden whelps fired at my 15 health Junkbot 3 of 4 times, killing it. Do you realize how tiny the chances are of that happening? This game is 100% running algorithms on me to make me lose so lesser players can get wins. No idea why but when it happens over and over it IS NOT a voincadence.
Rats and Cobalts seriously need a fucking nerf. I can't believe they haven't rushed it out yet. So obvious and so unreal that they haven't done anything about it.
Vs Deathwing can be a crapshoot. In the final match of the last game - ended 5th, where I had a build that was likely to first if I hadn't died there - opposing Deathwing has a single Rat. I hit it second last so it spawns 6 rats, then lose to a single token, knocking me out for exact lethal (because Ratwing can rush to 6 no problems).
I mean, it was bad enough that I lost like 20 health the previous turn to a *five* Juggler, two Voidlord VC, but at least that was a supreme high roll (and despite having a build that was likely to win, it was only turn ~2 of Kalecgos going crazy, so couldn't sustain all those juggles yet). That I don't mind as much - but Rat Pack still being in the game when Deathwing's been introduced? That's just stupid. It warps the entire game. If you're Deathwing and you get it, things get a lot easier (unless you get unlucky snipes, but that's why token/DS taunts are good). If you're Deathwing and you don't get one, it makes it so much easier for everyone else to beat you in the early/mid game if they get it.

Ugh, another game, another Cobalt+refresh ez strat wins. Top 4 is fine, but it's annoying when you have to work your ass off to get there, and someone herp derps a couple of Cobalts, some attack buffs and any old refreshers.
Nooooo idea why the devs have been so slow on nerfing Cobalt and Rat Pack. They make the game much worse right now. Cobalt at 3 is too easy to build a top 4 (if not winning) strategy with, and Rat Pack is absolutely toxic with Deathwing existing.
And now I literally lose three 50-50s in a row, after facing a Deathwing with double Rat Pack, to go from about 25 health to zero. This game...! I don't get how streamers can laugh about people playing regular Hearthstone when this is such a crap shoot. Not entirely - there's definitely skill involved - but when it's players of fairly equivalent skill, it's pretty much just a dice roll as to who will get the luck.
Edit: omg, and just then - never fought a ghost, ended up coming third to a monstrous Shudderwock that basically needed poison to be killed, and I was mech (easy top 4 as per above, but honestly, would Cobalt be at least tier 4, if not removed until they figure out how to balance it). The thing is - as I said, never fought a ghost; had fought Deathwing the previous round to a draw. Deathwing fights the ghost and *loses*, despite me beating the ghost pretty easily a turn before he died. Basically - another 50-50 resulting in a lost placement.

E.g. had a game where I went for murlocs, went for t5 with 20 hp and for 3 rounds straight I was only offered 1 cold light and 1 primalfin despite being the only one playing murlocs. I mean, we are speaking 24 rolls. Felt fucking bad man.

Just played a game with the new "recycle murlocs" hero (seems decent... if the game gives you good murloc offerings, which means he's in a similar boat to other tribe-centric heroes in that he's probably average power level at best), and literally 3 of the top 4 were mechs with at least one Cobalt each. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - the strategy is just too strong and too easy to top 4 with... I mean, there's literally a refresher for it at every tier except 5 (or am I forgetting one in tier 5?), as well as attack buffs for it starting at tier 2.

This bullshit rng I fkn hate Soul Juggler when oppenents plays with it survives until last second and you know what when opponent plays it ,always attacks to a minion near death but doesn't attack minions with high health and if there is no minion near death it attacks to minion with lowest health until it fkn dies!
When I pick it always attack minion with highest health and always die as soon as possible I fkn hate SOUL JUGGLER WORST MINION ON BG EVER!

As I've said countless times, the good experiences when you roll well don't nearly counteract the bad experiences when you don't, at least in my mind - and because I have OCD and need to get 3 top 4s to complete a trio for gold (because there's no reliable tracker I hate leaving it incomplete), if I get fortunate enough to top 4 in my first game, I'm stuck playing until I can get 2 more wins. Also, literally can't remember the last time I got offered Rafaam.

Good luck trying to quit.. Game is the epitome of frustration but still addictive as fentonyl with crack sprinkled on top. It does have that going for it!
Dont feel bad about losing MMR. I was at 7000 when dragon patch hit. Minion pool is too diluted meaning high rolls decide the outcome of the game. There is little you can do in terms of strategy. Going for a specific tribe is harder than it ever has. Those who succeed are just extremely lucky. Even really good builds that placed you 1st or 2nd arent good enough for this patch.
At the 7000 mmr, 4th place gains average 14-20 mmr while 5-8 place generate far higher losses. You easily lose 70-100 every time you dont place 4th or higher.
At this point they should just remove the mmr counter completely. This mode is just a glorified slot machine at this point.

No high rolls from tavern 5-6 to fit my comp.
Dreadful hero selection. Some of the worst offered against and again.
You take too much damage mid game. Easily losing half your HP before you can even upgrade to tavern 4 is just absurd.
