Even if he wasn't the European champion, I still would have voted for him cause he's Dutch. Not going to support an Ukrainian or some shit. Too bad!

To be fair, Thijs played this series pretty poorly, so as much as I root for him I still think he deserved this loss.

No one going to mention the horrible misplay that last game, playing freezing trap into burglar, then he just played burglar into snipe, aw man I cringed at the misplay 

1. You get 1 pack no matter what.

2. Thijs is now in the loser's bracket of Group A. With that terrible Druid deck, though, I don't think he'll make it out. He'll either win 1 or 0 matches, which means we'll get 1 or 0 extra packs. He's playing Handsomeguy first.

I don't get why people would regret choosing any of the participants as champion. Even if he loses.

Everyone has the same chances to win. It's not like choosing Germany as FIFA World Cup champion.

Thijs lost his advantage because he played his Malygos druid either so greedy or on some of those games he wasted a lot of his burst ( Living Roots and Moonfire on minions thinking he can win with board pressure) he even had Malygos in hand and if he was a little bit patient he could've easily otk, i know its Blizzcon World Championship and i can't imagine how nervous he was . But instead he wasted burst , played Malygos ,,naked'' in the following turn without using any other spell hoping that his opponent doesn't kill it.That was his last hope since he doesn't use Ragnaros the Firelord in that decklist.I'm not blaming him for unexpected loses after 2:0 advantage but i guess he lost so much games with Malygos druid two or three in a row because i know from my experience that Malygos druid deck depends highly on early ramp , good draws and Emperor Thaurissan reduces for otk combo without Innervate which unfortunately Thijs didn't have like with his druid game 1 (when he had Emperor Thaurissan and both Arcane Giant's at bottom of the deck and he simply wasn't favoured against discardlock and control warrior decks.

Don't regret for a second picking Thijs, although it definitely looked like the nerves got to him after losing the versus Warrior. On a side note, really impressed by Amnesiac as well as hotMEOWTH, think Americas has a very good chance to have representation in the finals, at the very least.

Recommend change of thread title. Thijs is still able to compete. This is inflammatory and inaccurate.

When he lost I knew the people who went for the obvious choice were unhappy >:) I went for Amnesiac.

Chose him because NL in his name must = nl_kripp right?
