if not... its probably nerf time. I used to play CW about 40% of the time on the ladder before all the gvg CW hype. Now i dont ever wanna touch it for the sole reason that the mirror match is absolute misery and it happens roughly 50% of matches ( everyone and their dogs gold fish is playing CW) and after a 45 min mirror match press q into another mirror match is enough to make your soul die. The problem is the other decks i play currently like midrange pally and a bit of zoo if i get too salty just kinda dont cut it vs warriors and while midrange pally definitly CAN win if they get what they need when they need it( MUSTER FOR BATTLE MEN.... oh ok whirlwinds are fun cards 2 guess) i just cant kill them before they get so much HP its not possible anymore. Anyone know of a warrior crushing deck that hopefully doesnt take 4 hours to play per match and has at least a decent matchup vs the rest of the meta?
I have not really found anything with AMAZING consistency (70% or more) but I have had some success with a shaman control build I have been running, and that's even when going to fatigue wars. Have a build of it posted on here, and it has decent matches against most other things on the ladder. I've tried a couple mage builds, druid builds, and a few other things, but none of it has produced more than a 45-50% rate for me. Shaman Im sitting on somewhere around 60% or there abouts, but that is the best shot I've had.
on the druid deck you mean the taunt druid kind with 1 copy of combo and tons of taunt, or the no combo legendaries up the booty hole version, or the double combo version. does it fare well vs the rest of the meta i may be interested there! I have a golden druid but stopped playing it cause i didnt really feel like it got like anything from GvG and wanted to work on other getting other heros golden but if it can bust through the warrior wall then... NATURE SHALL RISE AGAINST YOU
Just wondering what makes priest a bad match up against CW? I want to make a priest to counter CW and face hunter by focusing on the early and later game and ignoring the mid game a little.
It appears there are many counters to CW. My favorite papers to use against rock are Druid and Secret/Freeze Mage. Duplicated Snowchuggers and Water Elementals plus Polymorph or Vaporize to deal with Alex and Grom. Juggernaut is most annoying unless you can copy and Duplicate it.
Spectral knights, shades, Harrison+double force of nature+savage roar combo druid. Frozen's druid got #1 legend with it. He claimed 75% winrate against control warriors. His deck you can find on this site.
I have the most trouble with Ramp Druid (when the ramp works) and Shaman, probably. Handlock depends on draws. Control Priest and Control Paladin generally go to fatigue.

I've had the most success with my ramp-druid as well. But it's MAYBE 60-40 in ramps favour, and even then, it is a terrible matchup mentally to play.

shaman is favored against cw.
Mill Druid.
I bring life and pffffffffffffff!
Control Paladin is currently superior, in my opinion. Had about a 70% win-rate against control warrior on the ladder up until legend this season.
Was using Trump's Quartered, with Loatheb in place of Bolvar.
If you aren't playing Paladin, you're doing it wrong.

handlock, control pala, mech mage with freezes, shaman
My control paladin win about 70/80% against warrior. Most of times I win on the fadigue.
I won 11/12 games against CW with this Shaman deck from rank 10 to rank 5. CW is so slow that he can't fight with all those things on board.
Problem with deck is ZooLock, so if meta is all around CW and less around ZooLock, you can have fun with this one.
