I see a lot of people suggesting to craft gold copies of the rotating cards which I’m a little foggy on as to why. This is my first HOF rotation so how does this work?
Are you paying the 3200 dust now for say a gold Baku just to dust it and get the dust back?
To be clear, only cards going to the hall of fame count. Not all of the Year of the Mammoth cards. Don't go crafting golden Death Knights or anything like that, and expect a return on investment.
You should only craft gold if you don’t have the normal card or it’s lost dust.
Fair, but I’m gonna do it for the value, I like golden cards and play a lot of wild so I still think its a great deal.
It is if your goal is to upgrade to golden. The trick is people tend to think that if there's a way to get free gold if you DON'T own the card then youshould be able to get free gold even if you do own the regular card.
If your goal is to keep all of the golden cards in the end then yes, you can get to crafting.
yeah, gold cards are only for whales other players could care less hey.....I laugh every time I hear this nonsense. 300+ packs and 26k+ dust on release day..yeah I'll be playing full golden tier one decks in week one. hmmm. my collection is fully complete and almost 70% fully golden! oh my!
i laugh at the tryhard players emoting nonstop in casual while i play fully golden random BS decks to complete quests....when you have nothing to win in the game you really dont care. Blizzard please put an auto squelch option in the game so i dont have to right click anymore.....im pretty effing sick of it.

Or do you get the dust AND get to keep the card?
Or is there some kind of dust bonus?
you get the dust and you keep the card
At HOF rotation they list the cards that are getting HOF and tells you how many of your cards are affected. Then it gives you the dust.
You get the dust and keep the card, then can disenchant the card for an extra 1600 dust I believe
Oh wow that seems broken, but gr8! Thanks!

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
