I am sure many are familiar with HS replay website, where you get a snapshot of the meta across all ranks. I am not here to ask if it is good or bad or if you use it. I am thinking of giving their paid subscription a trial, but I just want to ask anyone who is a subscriber on why are they redirecting me to the blizzard website and asking me to log on there?
How does the paid subscription work, will they have access to my account and track my games?
As far as I know, they use the data to see your collection and such. The benefit of that is that you can see which decks you can build with your current collection, or how much dust it would cost you to create the remainder of a certain deck. I'm not sure if you can disable it, but I'm a subscriber, and after reading the privacy statement, accepted it.

You are logging in with your account, you need to give access to your account basically, that's normal. You give information about your collection of cards that way etc. The replays/tracking games is done through their Heartstone Deck Tracker only, I believe. You will need to download it, if you still don't have it.
And yes, subscription is absolutely worth it if you wan't to become more than just a casual player, subscription opens a lot of information that will make you much better at this game.
It's useful. Allows you a better read on the meta of your server and at your rank, I don't even read the VS report anymore as it's always too old to be of any use. And arcane tracker works on Android so I can track my monthly progress easily.
Well i definitely like subscription because when looking at mulligan guides you can select opponent class and rank range... Also additional filters in deck search and meta snapshot help sometimes too.
its save just a 3rd party app.. so they can see wich cards u have and u can after many games see how your streak goes nice app but never paid for it either.
Thanks all for the kind replies, so it is perfectly safe and authorized by blizz? wont get you banned as a 3rd party is accessing your account.
It links with Blizzard account directly through official API, it doesn't ask you to enter Battle Net ID directly... you login on Blizzard side and then it just will ask you to authorize... Like for example you can link discord to your Blizzard account.

Nothing that breaks ToS, if that’s the kind of “safe” you are asking.
Just cross fingers the site won’t get hacked ;)
Even if it does get hacked it can only access some minor information about your Battle Net ID, no personal information (other than your match replays in Hearthstone and car collection) will be leaked...

I use the paid subscription and it provides nice extra features addition to the free version
payed subscription has nothing to do if the way they track your games and collection,
All tracking is via the deck tracker client you need to install on your PC
The Login to blizzard is the authentication method they use to create your account (linked to your Blizzard ID)
Well i definitely like subscription because when looking at mulligan guides you can select opponent class and rank range... Also additional filters in deck search and meta snapshot help sometimes too.
