So we have come to a day where there might be a serious problem in the game. The newest expansion will release in less than 2 weeks!!!!
As usual blizzard has put together a show in releasing and previewing upcoming cards. And let me tell you boyyyyy I'm excited!! That is until I started filtering the cards. Then I look at what we currently have in the collection and 1 class stood out to me.. and that is Druid. WOW has I looked through the class of both wild and standard cards I was amazed has the sheer power of druid.
This expansion is no different, and we havent seen all the card yets!! We havent even seen the legendary spell for druid!!! The possibilities for druid will be endless this new expansion, their new cards are insanely powerful.
Psychmelon is only 4 mana... they have the new get 2 Crystal's card just to name a few. Druid is going to be absolutely dominant this season. The value is insane on their names part present on incoming futurem
Soooo Is druid going to reign supreme on ladder when the expansion comes out? Am I wrong, is druid not nearly has strong to compete? Is it unfair to non druid players that their cards are ridiculous?
What yall think is this the expansion for druid to destroy the ladder and maybe even the game!? Sound off in the comments below!! Enjoy!
This happens literally every expansion. A few cards are revealed and people overreact. Personally, I'm not worried about Druid. I'm waiting to see all the class cards and then I'll react accordingly. We've only seen two Warlock cards after all.
I'll agree it does look pretty scary. Other classes have some cool cards, but I can see where you are coming from.
The early ramp card, if it grows out of control in the meta, could be something people could abuse. Skipping their 2 drops and going for a heavier mid/late-range game (Prince Kelseth likes this).
I don't have any of the druid game-changing cards yet, and I already feel that solid druid decks stomp all over what I can put together, lest RNG brutally pulverises my opponent and shines all over me.
For me, personally, I'm keen to see how it all unfolds. There's still a few standard legends I really want to craft (DK Rexxar/Jaina/Gul'dan + Lich King) and I think they will remain solid cards when this new set comes out. For me, right now, I can't see any of these new legendary cards being more desirable. A lot of them look fun, and yes, druid looks to be scary even without legendary cards!
Stahp with this tunnel vision. Focusing only on 1-2-3 cards in a deck. Look at the bigger picture. Look at what the other classes are getting. Check for maybe new synergies with overlooked or not so used cards from previous expansions.
But oh, wait, you can't. Why? Because you don't know every card from the expansion. You know like 50% of the cards. You don't know what decks will be good and what not. You are just focusing on a single card or maybe a couple new cards and start QQ-ing with "mainstream" words like "druidstone" and "op op".
Remember, even if there is a particularly strong deck that wrecks everything on ladder, there are enough smart deckbuilders out there that will think of some counters to it. So, no I doubt we will see a meta dominated by 1-2 decks. I am not sure if we are going to reach the healthy diverse meta we have/had in WW, but I doubt Blizz will let the community down by making 1 deck to rule them all.
I guess, we will just have to wait and see for ourselves. But please, STAHP with the pointless threads before the exp is out. Or at least like 90+% of the cards are out and you can make a well-educated guess.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Still better than Witchwood, imo. If this were Witchwood I would have already stopped caring about the reveals.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I have a feeling that rogue (fatigue, hopper, miracle, Deathrattle, whatever etc.) will also be competitive and might be able to combat Druid. Or we might all be wrong and a completely overlooked deck might rise up due to a legendary we haven’t even seen yet. Hell, it could be warlock again. Just wait till they finish, otherwise they might even make a tech card/counter and we’ll all be wrong.

for god sake, not to be funny or anything but this is like the 10th thread like this about druid today. lol, please make it stop.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Uh yea I feel like preist is getting shafted with Zerek, Master Cloner and Power Word: Replicate

Feeling like big spell Mage and spell Hunter both counter it. There are probably some other ones that I'm not thinking of.
Not sure if hyped yet.

The question is not if druid will be OP but how long will take to Blizzard do the obvious nerfs many druid cards will needed.
We only can enjoy KFT after the nerfs, before them druids are 80% of the ladder, a Tier 0 GOD class almost invencible.
Blizzard should learn with the mistakes of the past but unfortunately don't, we have to wait weeks or months until can have fun with the new cards.

I love playing druid, but so will after one else after the release of BDP. Dreampetal Florist and psychmelon are going to dominate!!!
Brace yourselfs, druidstone is coming.
So disapointed, if not for the absolutely insane broken druid cards this can be an awesome expansion. :(
