Do you use it? Considering you have to start with the quest the chance to draw it is pretty low, at least for me. I played 16 games and didn't draw FWA a single time.
Granted i didn't draw anything good and lost most of those matches, managed to complete the quest like 4 or 5 times. I mean in the mirror i was at 4/7 when my opponent completed his quest.
So should i drop the axe? should i still play this if i'm so unlucky?
The thing is, the most played deck is quest rogue and they either have no board, board full of 1/1s or 5/5s or the TTK Mage, which doesn't play much minions, so Fiery War Axe is pretty much useless right now.
Even Rogue and Mage "meta" decks have synergy minions they mulligan for that you can remove with FWA. Removing Fire Fly before it's bounced back deprives Rogue of two minions and may delay Crystal Core by a turn -- good value. Mage still has Sorceror's Apprentice.

Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
I don't think there has ever been a warrior deck in the history of this game where you didn't want to be running 2 war axes.
Well welcome to the new meta because it's pretty much garbage in the quest warrior deck. The decks that are going to beat you aren't even phased by the Ax being brought into play.

The boost you get against decks like pirate warrior, zoo etc is still worth it. Even if you were going to beat them anyway, the fact that you get about 20% increase every game you draw FWA against them makes it worth it.
Maybe MAYBE I could see it being debatable to run just one in a few scenarios, but there's no way you're cutting both copies.
Dude i NEVER played this on turn 2 in quest warrior, i can NOT draw it.
Then this post is just nonsense. You can argue for cutting every card in your deck because you might not draw them at the right time.
No, you can't. Most cards don't have such an impact as FWA, it doesn't matter when you get an acolyte, it's still useful, the axe on the other hand is game winning in the opening hand but close to useless in the late game.
Obviously because of the quest, the axe is less likely to start in your opening hand, impossible for me.

Patron Warrior ran 1 I believe for awhile. Sometimes you just gotta break them rules to achieve greatness.
That being said, I run 2 and I don't think there's a very good reason not to no matter what build of Quest Warrior you are. :P
Pretty sure most versions still ran two. Maybe there were a couple who cut it due to how bad it was vs minibot in the secret paladin meta though.
Don't forget that back then you had access to an even better card(death's bite).
Oh, I'm pretty sure it was a very short phase at the very least. It was pre-nerf Patron and the post-nerf was a lot less all-in on draw engine and could use the tempo from FWA. Mostly just being pedantic, it's unlikely FWA gets cut but it's happened in the past and I've never really ruled it out.
Kind of like cutting Innervate from Druid, it happens sometimes.

Anyway, don't drop war axe just because you never draw it. Not drawing it is good because it thins your deck and makes you more likely to draw the other cards you want in your opening hand.

Um no? Acolyte is a very bad card to play in certain matchups and towards the end of your deck. Have you never seen a control warrior mirror before? Acolyte is routinely bad on certain boards as well. There are bad situations to play almost any card in the game. Fiery war axe is also WAY better towards the end of your deck over acolyte.
How can you argue that any card is good or bad if you don't draw it. That's absolutely ridiculous. You talk about acolyte, what if acolyte is the 30th card in your deck every time. This post invalidates any argument you could have about putting any card in any deck. I'm beyond done with this idiotic thread.

6 damage for 2 mana is rarely a bad card at any stage of the game.

I try to cut cards out of my deck that are usually considered the best ones in the game. I like to give my opponent a chance.

Being the absolute best card in the game doesn't help me if i never draw it.
The Axe is THE BEST Warrior card, si yes, you should play it in every deck

You did a really good job making a salty thread without making it look like a salty thread. Still:
