Basically, I'm trying cheat out my big guys then give them windfury to overwhelm the opposition.
I know it would be lots of fun, but I'm not sure how well it would in practice. So before I put some monumental effort into crafting everything I need I want to ask some more experienced deck builders:
1. Just how well do you guys think this deck would this deck work? I know it's not going to be a top tier competitive deck, but I'd still like to know exactly how fair it could get me.
2. What would you guys change to make it better? I'm on the fence about a few, like mana tide and alarm-o-bot, but I'm not sure what I'd put in.
well, i've noticed some things on your deck that i want to point out:
- Most of your cards seem dependant on ancestor's call (blademaster with full health, earth elemental, rag) and this is making your deck too curve-heavy for a shaman
-your epics are difficult to remove except by bgh, but since they are 5-drops and have a drawback that can kill you sometimes, I don't know how long can your deck survive after turn 6.
- you don't have so many removals and u will rely too much on far sight to give you the so-wanted tempo this deck needs. maybe with some lightning bolts and a second lightning storm you can solve that (idk what u should take out to put these)
I would take out windspeakers (could screw you over) and Fel Reaver for Feral Spirits (You need taunts for AlarmoBot) and Ancestral spirits. Probably another lightning storm also. Reaver has bad effects for a late game deck. And it doesn't benefit from your theme.
As long as this deck is for fun. I don't know how competitive it can be.
Running Ancestor's Call without Hex seems like a bad idea. Just as an insurance policy against the bad cases. Certain cards with drawbacks are bad targets for alarm-o-bot and Call, Mukla is already a cheap creature, you'll potentially be increasing his mana cost by 1 to not give them bananas, just find a better card. Same with the Fel Reaver. You don't want to cheat cheap cards in, you want to cheat expensive cards in that have all upside. I also don't think alarm-o-bot is really that worth it, even in this style of deck.
Hi, this is my first post on these forums, so if I'm posting in the wrong section or anything I apologize in advance.
So, I have be messing around with the deck builder a lot in anticipation for GvG. I came up with this:

Any feedback would be really helpful, thanks!

I really want Pirates to be a playable theme.
