If you have bad card draw, then Deathwing is an obvious board clear. Drop him down, destroy everythingand lose your nonexistant hand. The otherthingthat's great for card draw is Darkspeaker with Acolyte of pain. voila, your AoP grts extra health, a full heal, and +2 attack
And then silence your Darkspeaker to get the stats back. :-) Silence becomes a +2/+3 buff.
Right, I actually ran the Darkspeaker Combo in Arena (for Mage). It reliably let me draw my entire deck. I hit Fatigue almost every game because of it. I never even considered silencing Darkspeaker, though.

I really like this idea, but I don't think there is enough room for it (or at least i don't know what I would replace).
Deck list has a bunch of changes guys! Please upvote for my hardwork (literally been at this for 8 hours strait) and so we can get the word out/ continue to optimize. It was also recently mentioned that Darkspeaker may have some great interactions with Silence.
*Edit* That means it is safe enough for ladder play now!

Change class is what comes into mind and this is coming from a 2 years priest player... Blizzard is making a statement here to all priest players out there "Abandon this class please"
I'm not even a huge fan of priest i just like this deck idea a lot. I want to see it be something to be feared but it isn't with such an obviously tested and nerfed card with purify. There is no way they didn't consider having it target minions besides friendly and it boggles my mind why they thought the way it is now should be the final product. Still, I'm going to try it and it might be good as is.
Haha well I certainly hope so. I would be a lot happier testing this card if it only had 1 word removed. Just one. And then suddenly priest is back into the meta, maybe.
All the new Priest cards are situational (dealing with certain types of decks) and reactive cards as Priest always got all these years. don't they see that this is Priest's main problem all these years? the class has no Tempo or proactive moves.

Yea things aren't looking so great. Still going to try the new cards and hope for a miracle, but I'm not really seeing how it could be done.

Ok, so some free advice and it's worth what you pay for it. ;) Here's what I'd change:
-1 Barnes. He's utterly useless, especially here. +1 Auchenai Soulpriest. She's more versatile stat-wise, and can help board clear.
Which leads me to...
-2 Silence, +1 Circle of Healing and +1 Mass Dispel. Mass Dispel silences the board and draws a card. CoH ends up board clearing with Soulpriest, or can mass heal all those big taunts you like, not to mention with Northshire Clerics... that's a spicy meatball.
-1 Icehowl, +1 Deathwing. Better stats, board clear, plus I like his voice. ...oh, and Icehowl sucks.
-2 Excavated Evil, +2 Flash Heal. With Novas, Soulpriest and Deathwing, extra AoE isn't necessary, and Flash Heals can help you or with Soulpriest are little fireballs for 1 each. Nice for crowd control, or to finish off face.
-1 Darkshire Alchemist, +1 Justicar Trueheart. What??? Weren't you just talking about synergy between Soulpriest and Flash Heals? Yes, but Justicar is a permanent solution. She's a big body to deal with, plus she amps up your heal power to 4 a turn, or turns it into a 4 damage fireball with Soulpriest.
Lastly, and I know you'll get upset over this one... drop the Ancient Watchers. WHAT??? That's kind of the theme!! Well, they take up more space than they are useful. You need early game presence and card draw. Especially with all those big mamma-jammas in your deck. I suggest 2 Alcoytes of Pain. They'll work with pretty much everything in here, and they're a natural target, so it can be cannon fodder, but it's a stall to bring your deck together PLUS card draw.
Again, this is just some ideas. I tried to cut some dead weight, and make some "improvements" here and there. not bad though. I'll have to try it all out myself. This was just off the top of my head. Hope it helps!
