Well met! I am maining a midrange paladin, and would like some opinion on which cards would be good to replace and with what. So far I've received reasonable success with this deck. Recently I replaced a Murloc Knight with a just recently unpkaced Justicar Trueheart. But I'd like to know if there are any better options for certain cards.
Personally I'm a little skeptical on the high amount of 4-drops, but there are just so many good 4-drops that it's hard to argue against not including many of the traditional 4-drops.
That's a fairly standard midrange paladin deck list. Silver regent isn't very common though. Neither is tuskar jouster. Lots of people run sludge belchers in these decks too. Running one heal bot also helps against aggro of if you have a bad start which can happen. Keeper of uldamann is also a very useful card in the midrange paladin deck and I run two of them. They can work for offense by buffing a recruit or defensively by changing the stats of a monster like ysera to a manageable 3/3 minion. I agree on the four drops but there are too many good ones to skip!
Coghammer seems popular too and can be a great tempo swing in the early turns. Not sure if you need to run argus either. Maybe go with a sludge belcher and healbot in his place? All those four drops, right? Lol. Quarter master is another card that seems so situational. I run one sometimes but then others I remove it. It sucks to have to play him with just one/couple recruits out there or even worse to use him as a vanilla 2/5 minion. He's the best if you can fill the board with recruits and then drop him next turn. It's almost game over....but people KNOW this and will use AoE or whatever to get rid of your recruits fast. Some folks run a few secrets too.
One thing is for sure, mid range paladin has a LOT of options that you can choose from. It's not a slam dunk, easy-choice deck as you have found out. I'm constantly tweaking my mid range paladin deck, always looking for that magic list. :)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
