Got golden Malygos and planning on dusting it. I'm thinking about crafting several cards rather than 1 big legendary because I think that would improve my deck a lot more. I'm thinking about SOJ, 1 more AW and LOH for now. What would you do?
Sword of justice is often a loss in tempo, as LOH can be if played incorrectly. Another AW is a great idea, especially given the 2 Equalities you are playing.
my opinion because I have crafted both and have thought this through a crazy amount. If you plan on playing control in any other deck, Rag is a great investment, if not rag is not that special If you plan on playing Paladin at all, Tirion is amazing. You can play him in midrange or control decks, but only in Paladin. Personally I like Tirion over Rag in the Paladin deck, he is harder to kill, gets tons of value when he dies, and still adds value after he dies. Rag is the RNG god and wins because of it. Simple as this, if you are going to play Paladin, Tirion is a better choice, if you plan on not playing Paladin for long, Rag is a better choice. Only DE you golden Mally for a legendary, epics are easier to craft and open unlike legendaries.
Thank you meadzilla. That helped a lot. I would probably craft Tirion because as much as I want to play other decks I don't really have the resources to craft other class specific staples to make them decent as of now.
This can sound stupid as hell, but i would have a Youthful Brewmaster in there... Peacekeeper, Kodo, Defender of Argus, Argent Protector, Argent Commander, Silver Hand Knight, Guardian of Kings... There are many cards with great "re-play" value in your deck.
Brewmaster is a tempo loss unless you play it late, but still bad. what would you rather play, a brew master bouncing peacekeeper to recast, or cast Tirion? By the late game you want to be dropping cards that are game winners, not tempo cards. Everything the control pally does is only getting to the end game. Pally has an ultra powerful endgame and longevity, bouncing cards is counter productive the vast majority of the time. I have never went, man, if I could just recast my defender, that would win me the game. Brewmaster is better in an agro style of deck so you can bounce little things and recast same turn to add power and reapply buffs.
This looked more of a midrange aggro deck then a late game deck to me (jugglers, yetis, blessing of kings)... he also was considering getting a Sword of Justice and a second Avenging Wrath...
Seeing as there isnt really alot of poly/hex/syphon/silence bait in the deck (except for blessing of kings maybe) i would imagine a lonely Tirion wouldnt get much effect, also with this kind of deck, if things go wrong and you get to late game sometimes you have mana spare to play around with bounce mechanics.
There seems to be a trend dividing etremely aggressive decks with divine favor and leper gnomes and extremely late decks with giants and several legendaries, probably he wanted to build something in the middle, i have no clue if that might work in the long run though.
Anyways i said it was a dumb idea, but a cheap to one to try at least :D Who doesn't have a brewmaster lying around in their collection :)
From what I've seen, a lot of Rogue decks on this site are running Malygos. Maybe try one of those decks out and see if you like it before you choose to DE it. That way, you'll know whether you'll really want to run Maly or DE it.

Single Pyro/Argus cos I only have 1 each will swap them in for Silverhand Knight once i craft them.

HandLock is too much fun.
I see what would u recommend then?
Given the current meta, I'd look at adding another Defender of Argus, and maybe a Shieldmasta. I'd probably run 2 Guardian of Kings too.
HandLock is too much fun.
After AW, argus and pyro I would still have 1k dust left. What is the best way to invest them?
My main question is would crafting Tirion be a better option than say 4 other epics.
Tirion is an absolute beast, but perhaps a class neutral legendary might be more useful? Rag for instance.
HandLock is too much fun.
Rag was actually my initial choice, now I'm back in the dilemma again :S

My comments refer mostly to the wild format.
