I posted my first quest hunter deck a few days ago. I appreciated the replies and tried to think of something better. Is this the one? I don't know, maybe you guys can help me work on it.
When I first crafted Hemet, Jungle Hunter, I was trying to make a quest warlock deck with him in it. After trying it out and failing horribly I had thought I wasted my dust. Luckily his name fits the deck.
As far as 1 drops, the deck is focused on control as you build your quest up.
Hemet comes in after the quest is done, but before the quest is activated. If you have enough 1 drops to finish the quest in your hand, then feel free to activate Hemet. That is probably the most optimal scenario when using him.
This way, Hemet gets rid of all your basically useless 1 drops. Then when you activate your quest, you should not have a problem drawing raptor after raptor.
If you finish quest and there is no Hemet and no other options, just activate the quest and yolo it.
Can you explain Snake Trap? I see the Knife Juggler synergy but that has always been a bit of a janky combo. I like the deck though, I'll give it a try when I get home tonight.
I played the deck around ranks 4-5 and unfortunately it's just not consistent enough. If you don't draw Hemet early enough you can't win. The few games I drew Hemet and managed to stabilise enough to play him on turn 6 followed by Marsh Queen on 7 were easy wins but if that didn't happen I literally didn't win another match. Even getting The Marsh Queen out on turn 5 had little impact because once your opponent has dealt with it there is no win condition left in the deck (and if you do draw Hemet after playing the Queen it's a dead draw, in a deck that draws very little).
The win con of Hemet followed by The Marsh Queen is great but I'm not sure this deck is the way to go about it.

Doesn't actually look too bad.
It does look like you're trying to shoehorn Hemet really hard though.
This is my attempt at the quest deck. I think Tundra rhino is what makes the quest playable tbh,
cut abusives for another bloodsail and tundra. They're are the jankiest top deck on the planet for a deck like this and you need a second rhino
Yeah I was considering a second rhino. I will try that out.
I did like Abusive Sergeant just cause it could help you trade in the early game, but it is sometimes a waste.
* Revised deck *
* Removed Deathwing, Swamp King Dred & King Krush. Various 1-drops. *
* Removed 2x Freezing & 2x Explosive Trap. Tracking removed. *
* Added 2x Savannah Highmane, 2x Stonehill Defender & 2x Defender of Argus. *
* Added 2x Snake Trap. *
Was losing enough to work on the deck again. This version seemed to work a lot better as far as being able to control the early game more.
Stonehill Defender is such a good card for any deck it seems. I also went with your suggestion and added a 2nd Tundra Rhino.
I couldn't cut the Abusive Sergeant's just because they were really adding value to my games early on.
Let me know what you think, I re-edited the deck up top.
Check out my version of a quest deck and see what you think. It's a much different spin on quest Hunter than most.
Even if you don't use it, maybe you'll spot a few tools that will improve yours (such as Sea Giants).
