Hey guys!
Zananananan here, I'm a german Hearthstone player and I'm currently playing for http://www.sfd-gaming.com/. I just wanted to share my Miracle Rogue with you. It's probably one of the hardest deck to play in the game. But it's also an incredible amount of fun.
I offer coachings for 20,00 €/hour. If you are interested, please leave me a message on Hearthpwn.
Update: -1 Deadly Poison, -1 Sap; +2 Swashburglar
I don't like Sap in the current meta.
Gameplan:
Mulligan:
Keep Edwin VanCleef if you have The Coin and/or Preparation. You can consider keeping Eviscerate or Shadow Strike in tempo based matchups if you have Preparation.
Aggro:
- Backstab and SI:7 Agent are really important in this matchup. Only keep Tomb Pillager if you have one of those cards. Preparation is also important.
- Keep Fan of Knives against Zoo and Aggro Paladin if you have a good hand. You can consider keeping Bloodmage Thalnos with Preparation and Fan of Knives.
Control:
- Always keep Tomb Pillager. Azure Drake is also fine. You can consider keeping Gadgetzan Auctioneer if you already have a good hand. Against Warrior or Priest you can keep Conceal if you have Tomb Pillager and Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
- Gadgetzan Auctioneer + The Coin + Conceal wins you usually the game.
- Don't keep Preparation.
Combos:
- Gadgetzan Auctioneer + The Coin + Conceal to draw your whole deck on the following turn
- Questing Adventurer + Conceal to go ham on the next turn
- Cold Blood on a minion and Conceal to setup lethal for the next turn
- Bloodmage Thalnos or Azure Drake + Preparation + Fan of Knives = 2 dmg AOE
- Backstab + SI:7 Agent for an huge tempo swing
- Leeroy Jenkins + Cold Blood + Cold Blood = 14 dmg
Questions
2x Deadly Poison is pretty uncommon in Miracle Rogues. Why are you running them?
It's way easier to make use of the combo cards, such as Questing Adventurer, Edwin VanCleef, SI:7 Agent and Gadgetzan Auctioneer. It also increases your burst potential. You can run Swashburglar instead, but I like Deadly Poison especially against shaman.
Replacements?
First of all don't replace Bloodmage Thalnos with Kobold Geomancer or Loot Hoarder, they are just to weak in this deck. If you don't have a card just replace it with good cards like Swashburglar, Shadow Strike, Barnes, Dark Iron Skulker and Violet Teacher.
You can't replace Tomb Pillager, The Coin is way to important. Play a different deck then.
How does the Coaching work?
First of all I'll ask you some Questions. e.g. What was your highest rank so far? Then we'll just start playing some games. I'll talk about the specific matchup and the gameplan. You'll suggest a play and then we'll talk about the reasoning behind it. We'll also talk about reading the opponent's hand and when you have to take risks.
Anyone try -1 Tomb Pillager and +1 Xaril, Poisoned Mind?
I was thinking the 2 Spells that you get from Xaril, Poisoned Mind would work better than just 1 coin.
Don't do that.Tomb Pillager is key, cut Deadly Poison if you really want him.
i dont have Edwin VanCleef what can i use intead
none. try other decks
I love dying with a full hand
I've never said that this deck is easy to play ;) Just keep playing and learn from your mistakes.
Hi once again, what do u think about new rogue cards and how they fit in miracle? Thx, all the best.
This version is already updatet. The only new card which you can play in this deck is Swashburglar, Arcane Giant is not good enough.
Bloodmage is one of the best cards in the game atm. it is used in many decks. It feels bad to craft him tho. Luckily i got him in a Brawl pack
Use http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/479-kobold-geomancer if you need a budget replacement, I found it to be a really good card.
Edwin is ppretty essential, but try arcane giant
The answer is always Edwin
Edwin VanCleef for sure, leeroy is in no way needed while vancleef is amazing in every matchup. I wouldn't sub vancleef for anything, but you could play xaril instead of leeroy although I doubt it will perform better. Tbh I don't like either in this meta.
i play this deck but with 1- deadly poison 1+ shadowstep, i can do the combo with SI 7 or leeory, it helps alot
Heyho. Thanks for the guide! Im loving rogue myself and I wonder if its better to play Maly or your classic list. Can you explain me which matchups are better with which versions and an can you give me an honest opinion which you think works better atm?
Cheers! +1
If you are running into a lot of heavy taunts in your meta you will probably be better served running Maly, as your win condition will be from spells as opposed to minion damage. That being said this is a fine miracle deck.
Hello again! :)
Nice working deck, unfortunately didn`t draw my Eviscerate against a Freeze mage (3 life left...), otherwise 3 wins!
Gameplay: VOD Miracle Rogue
YT-Player:
Holy hell did you play horribly against the Freeze Mage.
seems like the most replacable part, especially since OPs reasoning for double poison is the fact that it gives you an easy card to combo with, which is kinda what xaril does as well.
Go for it, Xaril ftw
