Basically you trade like hell until end game when you style on the enemy with your indisputable skill (Medivh+ Call of the wild) causing them to concede. Or you transition into face mode. The new hunter cancer.
Medivh gives a higher winrate vs warrior and the new cancer preist deck that's everywhere right now. I this is stronger in the new control meta we in I think.
Edit: Experimenting with - 1 carrion grub, -1 hound-master, and -1 kindly grandma for +2 tracking and +1 infested wolf.
Update: This change rly helped with card draw, Im getting medivh like every game now super consistent. Also, consider replacing explosive trap with snakes or dart trap. proving itself worthless in most of my games.
It's called honorable play. Call of the Wild is such a ridiculously strong card, you want to play it a turn later just to give your opponent a chance to fight back or concede on their own terms. The Medivh is your warning shot, because there isn't a "I have Call of the Wild in my hand!" emote yet.
Shit
lacks draw without the perfect draw ull be topdecking and the deck is full fo rly bad topdecks lategame needs more cc and card draw
why so much 1 card 1 sergent 1 carion etc ... with dat idea just go for a reno deck just go for tracking huge toad kodo and you can have a midrange reno hunt which can work probably better than this half deck.
This deck seems more "fun" than competitive.
Medivh is too slow for most play, I've literally never had a good time to drop him.
I've had amazing success with my Medivh Druid. He basically ensures my victory. I posted it somewhere on here yesterday. It's gone 13-2 as of right now.
idea per se is good. sure fun (not for the opponent).
but while 1/30 of the deck shouldn't be too much to sacrifice over standard midrange/tempo setup, you're actually delaying CotW by 1 turn in order to make the combo happen (assuming you have it in hand)... which sounds to me as a winmore condition, rather than an improvement to winrate?
I think you're onto something with Medivh, the Guardian in Hunter, but why not take this even further? Getting the turn 8/9 Call of the Wild synergy is insane but the next most expensive spells in the deck are only 3 mana. In order to increase the value of Medivh, why not include cards like Ball of Spiders or Explosive Shot?
Not a bad idea, just feel like there's more potential to be had here.
The idea behind this is that there will be no turn 10 for your opponent. You flood your board with midrange minions (the 3 animal companions) and in addition to that you'll get a 8 drop (and in most cases you still have a Medivh, the Guardian on board). So either you opponent clears the 8 drop / Medivh, the Guardian or he goes for an AOE to kill off the companions. Adding Ball of Spiders or Explosive Shot will make your early/slash midgame weaker and your finish move wont be as affective if your opponent has got the board control.
"when you style on the enemy with your indisputable skill (Medivh+ Call of the wild) causing them to concede" even if ment as a joke its still pretty retarded
and how many times he'll make you loose because he produce 0 value right away and he could have been a better card like a second Bow. Plus this deck is not midrange, it's the complete opposite if you look at the curve actually. It's an aggro deck with a splash of late game. 5 mana minions are usually what you call midrange and for a good reason, it's right in the middle Kappa. How many does he play?
When I look at the curve I'm like "Ok this guy cut a good portion of his deck just for medivh and then claim medivh is good when it's actually why he's struggles"
Why don't we put Medivh in zoo next?
Adding an overpriced War Golem to weaken and slow down a good deck. Best idea ever.
Edit: Oh yes, downvote me for telling the truth please, I love it. You guys shoud check his other decks and you'll understand why you shouldn't trust the guy.
Oh wow, the number of people without humor is off the charts here.
