Your first thought when looking at this deck is "That there isn't enough taunt." But with the right combination of healing, removal and huge end game damage, this deck has managed to carry me up to Rank 13+.

Velen's Shadow:

Velen's power already makes cards like Holy Fire and Nova OP but with Shadowform and Auchenai Soul Priest a Four Damage to any character it just obliterates almost anything your opponent has in play or can play next turn. Also, if you draw Ysera's awakening from her and have Velen in play, it becomes a Pyroblast and nine out of ten times you will have enough health to survive.

You need not always have to play Velen or Shadowform in order to win. Facing an overzealous handlock or miracle rogue can allow you to control the board and heal up while Fatigue defeats them for you.

(Possible replacements for Ysera or Holy Fires are Mind Blasts and Reckless Rocketeers)

Shadowing your Opponent:

Your opening hand choices are heavily dependant on what class you are playing. Try to get a mind vision so you can figure out what kind of opponent you are facing. Easy ways goad your opponent into revealing themselves include: Northshire Cleric, Acolyte of Pain, Thought Steal and Mindgames. Obviously anything you take from an opponent can be key to victory but more on that later. In dealing with the Acolyte and Cleric's your opponent will allow you to have drawn enough cards for you to draw control for dealing with their board or end game finishing power. So bare this is in mind when playing an Abomb for an extra draw on the Acolyte.

Combo Power:

This deck's combo power lies not only in Velen powering up your cards. But also with Cabal Shadow Priest, Shadow Madness and Youthful Brewmaster. Cabal is an easy way to take control of an unbuffed Gurubashi Beserker, Flesh Eating Ghoul,Questing Adventure, Edwin Van Cleef and the list goes on. If it has been silenced or taken damage, a Brewmaster saves it. Brewmaster also allows you to take full control on a minion after using Shadow Madness. Use this to your advantage as most opponents will make a mistake in killing the minion in revenge.

Obviously there are infinite combinations with this deck depending on what your opponent's deck contains so enjoy experimenting with it :)

Any constructive criticism and or feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
