I got legend this month with this deck and i just would like to share.... have fun
Great deck. I'm running almost exactly the same thing, but 2 Beckoner of Evil. I haven't had any problems with Reno Jackson not being able to proc yet. I found 2 helps to establish the board in faster matchups + C'Thun synergy. Also +1 Nexus-Champion Saraad, just cause it's a personal favorite.
Just got legend today with this deck! :) (With some adjustments) http://i.imgur.com/W7iMxZk.png
congrats! what adjustments did you make?
Congratulations bro =D,
I took out MCT for ooze, BGH for Kodo, Farseer for Twilight Geomancer, Usher for Vendor.
it has been a really long time since i had no problem destroying aggro with a deck and I gotta say... this reno deck is the right thing for the meta at the moment :D
I had such a great time playing this deck that i decided to make a deck showcase video while playing it! i really hope you guys enjoy it like I did.
Too many missplays in video. :)
0-4. No way to defeat aggro if you can't draw Hellfire. Shadowflame is too slow.
And Usher of Souls is absolutely useless in this deck
demonwrath?
Doomsayer?
Nice fun deck thank you
playing the same deck, but without Usher of Souls. This one is really great, but struggle from bad drow sometimes (expecially against aggro).
Is this deck really worth it? I need an honest opinion about it, I am a f2p and committing 2400 dust (only dust I still have) is a lot for me since I do not have Jaraxxus, twisting nether and doomsayer. Is it really good enough to commit to it or should I keep doing arena till I have enough for N'Zoth pally?
I am on EU server btw.
Jaraxxus playable in any warlock control deck, aswell as twisting nether. Doomsayer playable in every control deck. So, feel free to craft at least doomsayer =]
I crafted Twisting and Jaraxxus for Renolock this month and I don't regret it. This variant is my favorite Renolock variant right now. It feels so good to drop Vek'lor against zoo and shaman, and the midrange curve of minions with Jaraxxus at the top is pretty strong against control. Your mileage may vary, though, cuz N'Zoth Pally looks incredibly boring to me.
I dont have Jaraxxus or TN and I honestly dont feel any need to craft them even though Renolock is my favorite kind of deck. They probably help a lot some games, but they are not necessary to make it a great deck. Doomsayers are played in most good control decks now so I would definitely recommend crafting at least one copy of it.
V. Similar to the list I've been playing a while with a few differences. The only thing I would really change is MCT for refreshment vendor. I used to run MCT in my old wild Renolock before the expansion but you just need a little more heal now that healbot is out and refreshment vendor is a nice play at 4 for tempo/heal against aggro like hunter/shaman or at 7 with Brann for more heal. I would also use doomsayer vs usher of souls as well just because if you don't pull reno out, a t10 cthun that's underpowered might be needed to stabilize (clear the board) and once they remove that (hopefully not through hex or poly) you can doomcaller it and summon it again for a win condition. You could also take out Syl for a Black Knight or Harrison depending on what decks you see alot (black night for druid or other cthun decks, harrison for warrior, shaman, pally, and syl for everything else. Other than that, good list!
Oh and you can also tech in a crazed alchemist if you see a lot of freeze mages for some reason as it also is good against n'zoth pally. I would never put Elise in this deck as you already have the single best card for countering control: Lord Jaraxxus. Also, I would not try to squeeze in the Leeroy+faceless combo as you just don't have enough flexible slots to fit both C'Thun and the combo into a Renolock deck. Pick one, you simply can't do both.
Reno Jackson heals you to full. Shadowflame and Twisting Nether deal with Call of the Wild. I don't see any issues unless you get a really poor opening hand.
I've done pretty well against hunters with this deck. Also there just aren't that many hunters in my local meta right now. It's definitely playable for some people
