Why play Paladin in this Tavern Brawl?
1) With Shredder out, you have the best 4 drops between the classes. Murloc Knight is massive value and Keeper of Uldaman can and will change the course of the battle.
2) Weapons. With weapons unaffected by the rules, you can play any combination of them that you want. I like 1 Cog and 2 Truesilver as these games will be less aggro and more midrange.
3) No Face Hunter. No Kill Command, Unleash the Hounds, Aggressive Sargent, or Leper Gnome means no crazy aggro. This is perfect for this deck.
4) Equality/Consecration: Your board clear combo is still available to use, and will win the long game against control and/or Patron.
5) Knife Juggler: You get to exploit him better than any class other than Shaman.
Biggest Losses?
Obviously not getting to play Tirion is a huge loss. You also lose Minibot and Muster for Battle, but again, with aggro pushed to the side, your quality mid-game should put you over the top.
Feel free to offer improvements.
Cant play Knife Juggler in this brawl.
Wow.... 6 game win streak so far! I love this deck!
Like a charm, thanks!
Another thank you, I had been having the most 'orrible luck in this TB until I pulled down some Paladin DQs and then found this, which gave me a nice winning streak.
Absurdly good deck. Thanks!
The deck is amazing, it just trashes everything. This should be on the front page, but alas whatever 3 decks make it there first tend to stay the whole brawl even when better options emerge. Not sure who down voted, probably someone who got crushed by this thing and feeling salty. Great job.
what is a good replacement for Sylvannas i havent gotten her or made her yet?
If you're looking for another big minion, try Rafaam or Sneed's Old Shredder. If you're looking for a five or six drop, Emperor Thaurissan, Kodorider or Harrison Jones. But too be honest, I'd probably just run the 2nd Jeweled Scarab. It's cheap, smooths your curve and can grab cards you can't legally put into your deck (like BGH).
Nice. Wanted to bring a similar deck.
Scarab is great for discovering BGH.
