Hey guys, this is a deck that's been putting up decent results against the Heroic Anub'Rekhan (at least for me).
The gimmick is that the only minion in your deck is Kel'Thuzad, so that when you kill his Deathlord, you get KT in play. From there you can use Feral Spirit to lock him out and kill him. Once you pull off this combo however, DO NOT JUST SMORC HIM DOWN. Keep his board clear. You will likely be at low health when you pull it off, and he may be able to just use Locust Swarm to clear the wolves and kill you.
Reincarnate is a key card. If you Reincarnate your Kel'Thuzad you basically can't lose. Also you can Reincarnate Anub'Rekhan's Deathlord to get KT into play. This is the most mana efficient way to do it, but you really want to be using Reincarnate on KT instead.
Elemental Destruction is also pretty important. He often won't play Deathlord until turn 5+ and you really need to do Elemental Destruction + Lava Shock to clear his Nerubians. Healing Wave can help you stall a bit as well, since your only minion is 8 mana and you are guaranteed to win (actually guaranteed, he doesn't play anything that costs that much).
You want to mulligan for Reincarnate mainly. Healing Wave, Elemental Destruction, and Powermace, and Feral Spirit are all good keeps as well (but you really need Reincarnate to win).
thanks defeated him on first try even before he reached turn 9, i reincarnate his dl then summon the wolf then reincarnate my kelthuzad, could win faster actually i was playing safe and clearing his board..thank you so much , he's the last boss that i could defeat for a long time for the heroic cardback
No problem :)
As I said, it's a good idea to keep his board clear since he might use Locust Swarm which will kill the wolves and let him push for lethal.
Enjoy the card back!
