Hi everyone!
This is my second time posting a decklist on this website, basically I reach legend every season and usually with various decks. I felt like sharing this one to you guys since I had rarely had such a high winrate.
I started playing the deck at rank 5 and went to legend within 3/4 hours, my record is 21/2 (91,3% winrate) and the two games I lost were basically due to not drawing any active spell until turn 4, which means the deck is ridiculously good in my opinion. If you have a hard time winning with it just message and I'll reply to you asap :)
The idea is (obviously) to go for board control as much as possible. Strong early game such as Chow, minibot and Muster will ensure you the board. Your game plan is basically always the same : have the board and apply pressure while having great trades available. You will then have to adapt depending on the matchup since the deck can play pretty well both aggro and control but I found out you almost always wanted to be midrange-aggro.
If you want to have better long game plan, play Justicar trueheart for example...
December update :
I haven't had time to play this season yet, the only proof of winrate is an excel sheet that I manually update.
I am glad you guys are enjoying the deck, let me know if you feel it needs some updates for this season. We have already talked about replaceing Sylvanas by Trueheart justicar which I don't think is what you wanna be doing here.
The Curve is very sensitive, you can't add any extra 4 drop in my opinion.
i like how original the idea and cards of this deck are. i have never seen midrange paladin before
sarcasm i hope o-o
Why reinvent the wheel when you can make some adjustments to make it better, or more efficient?
Made a gameplay video..
You missed lethal @ 8:26. Opponent starts @ 3 HP, Followed by Consecration @ 1 HP, Truesilver into Dr. Boom & Trading 1x Recruit, Trading 2 Recruits into Argus then going face to finish off opponent. You instead traded off your last Recruit into the remaining Argus for no reason at all.
mulligan guide?
The Black Knight it's a card that you play if you don't have some other card to finish your deck or if you keep getting matched with handlocks: in the latter scenario this card gets so much value because usually takes out a taunted giant or other taunted big minions.
In the first scenario it's just a filler.
In conclusion, for my perspective, it can be useful to have this card but it's not mandatory in any deck, afaik.
replace for sylvanas ?? can i use raganros instead of her ???
I have the same problem, what about kezan mystic? or go for murloc knight, healbot for control?
i used murlock knight for turn 6 , replace for sylvanas and it's good
How do you think I could implement justicar into this decklist if it has a spot at all? would it work to drop the Ironbeak Owl for it since you already have 2 aldors and Keeper of Uldaman?
I think if you want Justicar in it you would be better to have two quartermasters instead of the one in the deck. There is a similar deck posted that had it. Just makes the one ones stronger particularly against reno lock.
11-0 Thus far this season. Keeper of Uldaman is simply outstanding. Hitting an on-curve Savannah Highmane or Fel Reaver is such a massive tempo swing, and that is before considering neutering a big legendary with it.
I haven't really had time to play this season yet but I'm glad the deck is still well positioned :D ggs
Agreed..I used it on fel reaver and burned a ton of the druids cards. Feelsgoodman
I replaced one Aldor Peacekeeper with a Murloc Knight because I only had one. Loving this deck :) very nice!
soooooo gooooood
keeper replacements?
this is almost the same deck that I run with with few variations. Midrange paladin is strong right now.
Hello amazing deck, what card/cards should I include to counter aggro? Ty
All matches below from December 2nd
Edit: 3-0 Currently, really solid deck, I have not changed any card.
Edit 2: 5-1, lost to raptor rouge on my 5th match (aggressive version)
