Hearthpwn

Hey guys,

I'm Foxypounty, Hearthstone player from Switzerland, french is my main language, so excuse my english! : )

This is my first own created deck. I love particulary rogue, and I'm sad to see how few rogue players we are in this meta. I don't have any pretension, this deck is more for fun than laddering, but it works well for me!

Cards explaination:

Backstab: for removing early threats.

Preparation: Usefull for a cheap Vanish or others spells to combot with Edwin VanCleef.

Shadowstep: Use it with Coldlight Oracle, Refreshment Vendor, Antique Healbot or even Deathlord if he's severly injured.

Deadly Poison: for removing early threats.

Blade Flurry: Your best AoE, combot it with Deadly Poison.

Eviscerate: for early or biggest threats or to achieve your opponent.

Gang Up: Keep it for Coldlight Oracle to burn cards or Antique Healbot for great sustain.

Sap: Use it for tempo or pass a taunt, or even instant kill a big minion if your opponent have a full hand.

Beneath the Grounds: Use this spell as soon as possible if you're not board-threatened. It's a long term investment.

Burgle: This spell provide a card advantage + he can surprise your opponent with unexpected cards. Don't underestimate it!

Fan of Knives: Great AoE against hunt or paladin and recylce your deck.

Edwin VanCleef: Good card for early pressure. There is many ways with low cost spells to put a big Edwin in board, but don't hesitate to put him on turn 3 with a Backstab to control de board.

Vanish: Try to use it when your opponent's board is full. Remember that if his hand is full, minons die immediatly. Even better if you have Coldlight Oracle or Antique Healbot on your board.

Trade Prince Gallywix: Can be a little bit slow but when he is in board, do great job. He is difficult to kill with 8 HP, but will fill your opponent's hand with The Coin and give you a copy of spells. + The music when he comes in play is fun! ^^

Coldlight Oracle: Your main win condition, try to use it for burning cards. Very good combo with Shadowstep and Gang Up.

Deathlord: Usefull against early aggression, car stop the fastest decks. Remember his deathrattle, you can use it if a big minion enter in game and sap it if your opponent's hand is full for a kill.

Refreshment Vendor: Funny card with a good body and usefull heal in early game.

Loatheb: My favorite card, the king of tempo. Must I explain how many games he saves my life?

 

Combos:

 low cost spells + Edwin VanCleef Exemple in turn 4 with a Coldlight Oracle in board: Shadowstep on Coldlight Oracle, Coldlight Oracle for 1, Backstab and a 8/8 Edwin VanCleef.

Preparation with Vanish

Shadowstep and Gang Up with Coldlight Oracle or Antique Healbot
